I don't normally leave reviews, but this was actually one of the worst experiences I've had, even though I originally enjoyed myself while I was there. It had only been a week, and my nails started to come off. I had already gone back to get them fixed once, and then the day after, more came off. So I went back again, and she told me I had to come back the next day because there was no one there to fix them. When I did come back, I was under the impressionâand maybe there was a misunderstandingâthat they would just redo the set because almost all of my nails had come off. She only had to redo two the first time. The day I went back, three more had already come off, and they told me to come back the next day. So I did. I even came earlier than the time she told me to, and then they told me that I would have to come back Wednesday to only get the three fixed. At that point, I said, "Never mind," because you took my money and didn't actually provide the services. All that's going to happen is that you're going to do my nails, and they're all going to pop off, and I don't understand why you even told me to come the next day if you weren't actually going to do them. I've never experienced getting my nails done and a week going by and all of them popping offI don't think the salon itself is a bad place; they were very nice. I just think the way the situation was handled was very poor, and they don't do a good job. My nails should not all be coming off...
Read moreI finally found my to-go to mani/pedĂ spot in Philly! After striking out at a nail salon in Logan square, I am happy to report that the place youâve been looking for to get your nails done is Chica Chic. The location itself has a cute and comfortable vibe that immediately will put you at ease. Another plus- itâs easy to find street parking in the area.
I came in and got a gel manicure and pedicure and it is immaculate. My little short nails were in rough shape and Clara whipped them into shape in no time. The pedicure massage was so good- Clara was careful (I have a lower leg injury/bruise that hasnât healed) but Clara worked around it without issue.
I canât say it enough- Clara did an exceptional job! Each nail is painted to perfection with great care and the experience of getting the manicure/pedicure itself was the best Iâve had in Philly.
Clara pays attention to detail and she (and her daughter) are such lovely humans. I canât wait to go back. And- selfishly- my nail beds have never looked so good :)
I canât leave a review without saying that the scrub used for my pedicure is the BEST scent ever. Itâs made in-house and the scents change seasonally, so Iâm also looking forward to whatâs coming up- but let me tell you- the winter scent...
Read moreWorst nail salon ever!!! The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment and when I got there and they saw that I had my baby in a stroller they started coming up with different excuses not to let us in even though they only had one customer (mostly lies such as âit is written on our website that we donât accept kidsâ, âwe can only accept card paymentsâ, âyou didnât schedule an appointmentâ, etcâŚ). I ended up leaving without getting my nails done. Rude, rude, RUDE!!! Reply to the ownerâs comment: I had an appointment, I was not a walk-in. I spoke to you or one of your employees earlier that morning for several minutes and gave my phone no and name. No one asked for my credit card details. The stroller that you are qualifying as âbigâ is a very average size stroller (it is even allowed on planes in the overhead compartment). I have just read your comment to my almost 7 yo son and he does not like the fact that you are calling him a toddler at all. Plus, it does not say on your website that you do not accept kids but rather that this place is âgood for kidsâ. My clear conclusion is that it is not good for...
