First place! Bartender made our nite!
Come to birthplace of America— Wife’s BDAY. Someone recommended this place and boy it did not disappoint. If your at the bar-find the girl with red hair. So fun to watch I don’t know how these people entertain like that! She’s terrific! Might be the best service I had in a bar. Last 5 years without a doubt! On top! Everyone in our group was so impressed. She kept us nicely dedicated to our glasses:::BOOOOOOZE:::: and it’s was so fun. I wanna say huge props to this girl! My wife had so much fun and we ended the nite on the best note!
The have old school disco dancers! It’s so fun! They dance on pedestals in frickin great retro skirts and I was like okay! I’m gettin with it! We danced and danced and danced so much so had to get late check out. The music is great!
Prices are reasonable but we are from New York. So not sure for regular folk. Not that spot anyway. The place just has a vibe. It’s intimate yet really busy in there. Crowd seemed chill and nice. I was dancing with everyone! Coming back when we visit again! Now that’s a promise!
Ask the bartender for her own creations. She walked us through the menu. Super good attitude and a smile. Had some yuck moment with bartenders at a club downtown. We had a blaze experience there and needed something different. She made us a few of her own drinks and dayyyuum so good! Bottom line is it’s good AF! People get down and movin so dance up! Get me in a fun costume and let me get up there. Scary cuz I asked someone too! LMAO!Ouch!
Point is we didn’t want the nite to end and unfortunately it did. Girl with bright hair gets a raise cuz our nite was MADE and so fun. Get your drinks and dance. Coming back and seeing this place again. Great service! Awesome ambience and bartenders fun something crazy! That dancefloor is Fiiiiiiireeee!
Bonus round: dancers high fived is all which was particularly great. My way is so happy with her BDAY i think i don’t need to worry about throwing my socks everywhere now! Sweethearts!
Thanks wait is it an INN too? Now...
Read moreCame here on a Saturday night aware of recent staff turnover, but figured even the Saturday night crew would probably be able to hold their own, but was sorely mistaken. As soon as I got there I waited in a short line to get in, which I thought was unusual for the hour that I arrived. The bouncer was being very rude to several guests in front of me, refusing to let them know where a nearby ATM was, seemingly trying to turn certain patrons away instead of helping them out. It soon started raining, and some people left the line agitated. He then started letting people in 2 at a time, saying the bar was too crowded to let the whole line in (5 people). We pleaded with the guy to just let us stand inside the door or in the doorway, and he refused, saying the bar area was too crowded and even blamed me for not bringing an umbrella(it only rained for those ten minutes that night). When I was finally part of the two let in, the manager was an older woman who made a comment about a face I was making, probably because I was wet and cold. The only reason I didn’t leave was because I was meeting friends who were already inside. As soon as we were finally let in we were standing in an empty 10x10ft area that could have easily fit the entire line three times over. The bar area was pretty crowded though, mainly because the bartender near the door refused to keep tabs open and after every drink stepped away to print out checks and then patrons had to stand at the bar for an extra minute to get their cards back and tip the guy. Several times he stepped away to seemingly take a moment to himself as if he couldn’t handle the Saturday crowd. The other bartender there was the only worker I recognized from previous visits, and seemed to be holding it down and being very cool with guests. Didn’t see any popcorn and the dance floor was packed with people and no real dancing to be had. I used to love coming here, and my dad actually showed me this spot years ago as a spot him and my mom would go to dance. Sad to say I will never return to a place I once...

This place offers a very nice selection of whiskies, since it is a whiskey bar. As for the food, it's a different story. The menu was pretty small, and didn't have much. I had the Trestle meatloaf, which sounded filling, with a side of cesar salad. My friends had the pot pie with a house salad and another meatloaf with picked veggies on the side. The sandwich's ingredients were pretty average, but the meatloaf itself and the ketchup they put on it gave the sandwich the push it needed that made it great. The side salads weren't that good, but the pickled veggies were definitely something to try! The pot pie was pretty good, too, but was rather small. I would definitely come to this place just for the drinks they had, since they have special draft beers and the prices were nice.
The service was average. There was only one server, and he didn't come back as often as I would have liked. The environment was also shady. Looking around from the inside, I can tell the bartender and the customers were friendly among themselves, but the location of this bar made it uncomfortable. It is right by a broken-down bridge that I passing through, and everything around the building was broken down and worn. Because of this, I didn't feel entirely safe the whole time I was there. The inside of the restaurant was really, really dark as well, and gave it an ominous feeling, which was perpetuated by the fact that its faded/torn/ripped wallpaper coming from the walls.
Pros: Great Whiskey Selection! Not Crazy Crowded Cons:...
