Okay so this may be a little longer then I wanted but I have to tell you how awesome it was.
I was in with my husband and 2 year old yesterday March 2nd 2016 around 5 ish!
We had never been before and wanted to try something new, it was either bento box or sushi and steak.. and the name BENTO BOX grabbed our attention!
As soon as we walked in, it was cute tables and environment was clean and the napkins folded so perfectly on the tables with chop sticks!
I sat down to be greeted by our server, he was humble and you could tell he wanted to be there (I am not good with names, but he had a zelda game tattoo on his hand my husband asked about)
He got us our drinks, and helped us break down the menu, My husband did the raw fish platter, with a chef choice, had an awesome wasabi relish and shaved water chestnut with a seaweed salad, I think, we will say that because that is how it tasted, so fresh he loved it
I got an american ninja roll which had everything I loved in it, crab and cream cheese avocado etc! and then fried! so good, I actually woke up this morning wishing the drive wasnt so far to get another one! I also had the yaki udon, now our server explained to my exactly what i was eating, compared it to things i was familiar toooo, told me if i liked the yakisoba i would like this, etc etc, he broke it all down, let me tell you i was worried on not liking it, but after knowing the flavors i wasnt anymore
he gathered our drinks and brought a baby plate and a perfect plastic fork for our daughter, everything came out at the same time and was hot and of course cold... looked beautiful, but now it was time to dive in..
we went for the ninja roll first, doing a sushi cheers and devouring it, amazing, texture and flavor on point!
then he dug deeper and went for the raw yellow tail, cut perfectly and was so fresh
then i tried my udon, and to my surprise... amazing, so delicious my 2 year old couldnt get enough, the noodles were so thick and so good!
moral of it all bento box had me waking up wishing i had more!
We will certainly be back! and with our friends and even more friends!!
Oh did i mention they had seating right in front of the chef
if you havent tried this place, do it!
Best part about it, it didnt kill my stomach like other sit down places or other "chinese" dishes!
Thanks bento box

The place was small and not allot of people were there for lunch, Red flag! Not much decor. Indoor colors were a bit dark. There was just 1 waitress and she took our order right away (2 People). We got our drinks within about 2 minutes (Unsweetened Iced Tea with tons of ice). I ordered a Tuna and a Salmon Sushi roll special for $4.00. The other person ordered a cashew chicken box meal. With not many people in the place it took 15 minutes to get the cashew chicken. and we waited for the Sushi I told the other person to start eating without me. We waited another 10 minutes then asked the waitress where the Sushi was. The waitress flat out lied to us and said that everybody was ordering Sushi so the chef was way behind on the orders. I was observing the waitress the whole time and only saw one other order of Sushi. They had forgotten to make my Sushi I finally got my Sushi after 30 minutes and it was horrible. It was not fresh, there was no flavor, and the seaweed wrapping around it was like a rope. In fact I started to choke on the seaweed trying to swallow it because it was very chewy and would not break apart. It almost seemed like it was frozen and they nuked it to unthaw it. The other person said that the cashew chicken was also flavorless and bland. The final insult was the prices they charged. I never in my life have paid $3.50 for approximately 5 oz of Iced tea. They also charged me $10 for the Sushi which was $4 on the Menu. I tipped 20 percent as I always do and decided that it was not worth raising a fuss about. The best thing to do is not patronized this establishment again and make sure to write a review about it, letting others know that it is not a place that you...
Read moreThis place is terrible!!!! Let's start with what was good. The Miso Soup. That's where it ends and it's all down hill from there. I ordered take out. The Gyoza was deep fried instead of grilled which made the dough very crunchy. The Calamari Tempura tasted fishy, was so overcooked and rubbery we had to throw it out. It did not taste fresh at all. It was just un-consumable. Next the seafood Champon Ramen was bland at best. It also tasted fishy and not as fresh as can be. Again the calamari was overcooked and if you are going to put shrimp in a seafood soup at least peel the shrimp. Next was the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Dinner Box. The salmon was a disappointing 2 bites and you're done size. The skin was left on the salmon fillet. A big no no! The accompanying salad was also 2 bites and done. It was sitting in a pool of water with salad dressing on top. The California roll (4pcs) was good but at least provide ginger and wasabi with it. Dinner came to $43.61 for maybe $15 worth of subpar food. If I could give it zero stars I would. I will definitely not be back. The only reason I ate the food was because I was starving. Otherwise I would have returned it or...
