I go into the store with my husband at 3:40pm today 01-25-25 and there were two girls working the line and older lady with black hair and another the younger one looked Latina but had blonde hair. Both kind of on the hefty side, both in black shirts. Both Hispanic. I’m Hispanic myself. It was pretty dead when normally it’s very busy. I ask for two tacos and request for them to be done on a corn Tortilla, the (older)lady on the line making my food makes my tacos looked Kind of fed up with me ordering. I was not paying attention to how she made them, and I didn’t think I had to. I go sit down and I realize my tacos are on flour tortilla, no big deal I can ask them to remake them. I go up to the front and the younger girl is on the phone sitting down on the long table in front of the soda machines. so I go up to the register. She then gets up and sees me and goes, “is something wrong?” I say,” yeah I asked for my tacos on corn,” she yells over at the other older lady to tell her what I just said. To this the older lady says, “I don’t have corn tortilla,” I say, “oh well she really should of told me that before so that I had the chance to order something else,” to this the younger one says, “so what do you want me to do about it?” I’m in disbelief at this point. Because WOW the service?! She had wannabe management vibes but had no Polo. If that is Management at night I feel sorry for anyone walking in with hopes they’ll be met with decency. So I say I’ll keep the tacos because the lady had as attitude while making my food. And the other one while “addressing” me. It was the nastiest experience I’ve had with an employees at this location. Let’s not treat the customers like nuisances. I think this store needs to train staff. They don’t really know how to work around problems like these In a collected way. I can’t even fathom the money wasted on remakes. They don’t know how to de-escalate a situation. They looked like they were friendly with eachother too, so I know she was definitely on her side. So I’m automatically left with no resolution. They turned my dining experience so sour. I’ve been loyal to this location. But I hope I’ll have better luck at...
Read moreFirst off, as almost everyone has said, the staff here is some of the rudest I've ever seen in a restaurant. One of them even grabbed my chips out of my hand and literally made physical contact. Apparently I grabbed the "wrong" bag of chips, even though they are all the same size. Regardless, instead of telling me it was the wrong bag, the guy just aggressively grabs the bag and physically made contact with me. I complained; he still works there.
The food could be really good, however, they refuse to drain the meat of excess juices before they slap it in your taco. I asked specifically to do just that, and the guy told me "they couldn't " like I had just asked him to solve a quantum physics formula. To make matters worse, the lettuce is almost drowning in water and by the time you sit down to eat your taco, it's a soggy mess.
This place was good, and could turn it around by just hiring better employees.
After being a pro cook for 15 years, I can definitely tell you that the attitude of the employees isn't confined to the front of the house, and I do not trust this place to prepare, store, and serve their food in a safe manner. If you want a $2.25 soggy taco on Tuesday that may or may not give you food poisoning, then this...
Read moreEmployees were to busy standing around doing absolutely nothing instead of cleaning dining room. The taco bar was dirty & food needed to be changed out! Employees ignored us as we enter the restaurant. Which is normal for this location. We waited for someone to take our order. Employees were to busy making their own food to acknowledge us. Employee who finally took our order didn't even know which meat was the Sweet Pork. He gave us the wrong ingredient. He had to ask another employee which meat he needed. Cashier ringing me up seemed confused. I paid for my order & was rudely yelled & questioned about my order as I was leaving. There were to many Employees just standing around & not doing anything. It would of took this Employee 2 questions to ask what we ordered. One to the cook & Cashier. However, she decided to yell as I'm leaving the restaurant. Instead of having so many people on the clock invest in having a couple Employees that can do their job. Teach them how to change out the taco bar. Teach them to keep this area clean at all times. I'm sure they wouldnt want to eat the old hard rice, old lettuce, meat that's been sitting out, salsas that haven't been stirred, etc. Most importantly teach them what...
