Review for The Stillery
The Stillery is, without question, a bastion of joy, camaraderie, and rustic charm nestled in the heart of vibrant nightlife. My recent foray into its warm and welcoming embrace was nothing short of an epiphany in leisure, imbued with the effervescence of lively country music, the clinking of beer glasses, and the indulgent aroma of expertly crafted pizza. However, it is the remarkable team at The Stillery that transforms this establishment from a mere venue into an unforgettable experience.
Bartender Extraordinaire: Jamie Jamie, a virtuoso of mixology, possesses an almost preternatural ability to intuit the desires of her patrons. Her every motion behind the bar exudes both grace and purpose, as though she orchestrates a symphony of flavors and aromas for each drink she prepares. Jamie's warm and effervescent demeanor creates an immediate sense of belonging, as if you’ve stumbled into the home of an old friend rather than a bustling bar. Her encyclopedic knowledge of craft beers, paired with her infectious enthusiasm for sharing her favorites, elevates the act of ordering a drink into an exploration of the palate. It must be said that Jamie’s attentiveness knows no equal—one need only glance her way to be met with her radiant smile and prompt service. Truly, Jamie epitomizes the art of hospitality, and her presence behind the bar is an asset to The Stillery that cannot be overstated.
The Charismatic Katie Katie is nothing short of a luminary in the world of bartending. Her convivial spirit and quick wit lend a vibrancy to the bar that is as intoxicating as the libations she skillfully crafts. Each cocktail she prepares is a masterpiece, blending precision and creativity to deliver a sensory experience that lingers long after the last sip. Katie's ability to engage with patrons is nothing short of remarkable; she has an innate talent for making each guest feel like the most important person in the room. Her laughter, a melody in its own right, reverberates through the bar, infusing the air with a palpable sense of joy. To watch Katie in action is to witness a consummate professional at the height of her craft—she is, in every way, the heartbeat of The Stillery’s bar.
The Phenomenal Manager: Seasons Seasons, the manager of The Stillery, is a paragon of leadership and vision. Her presence is both commanding and reassuring, a testament to her ability to navigate the complex interplay of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Seasons has cultivated an atmosphere that is simultaneously lively and welcoming, a delicate balance that speaks to her exceptional acumen. Her dedication to her team is evident in the camaraderie and enthusiasm displayed by every staff member, a reflection of her inspirational guidance. Seasons’ attention to detail ensures that every facet of the establishment operates with seamless precision, from the perfectly baked pizzas to the impeccably timed line dancing sets. It is clear that her passion for creating memorable experiences permeates every aspect of The Stillery, making her not only a manager but a true architect of delight.
Conclusion The Stillery is a venue that transcends expectations, due in no small part to the unparalleled talents of Jamie, Katie, and Seasons. Each of them contributes uniquely to the tapestry of this extraordinary establishment, leaving patrons with memories they will cherish long after the night has ended. Whether you seek a spirited evening of country dancing, the perfect pint of beer, or simply the joy of being enveloped by a community that feels like family, The Stillery delivers all this and...
Read moreThe Stillery has been on my list for months and was so excited when we decided to stop by for lunch and check it out. I was pleased to find parking easy and service great the second we walked in the door. We were seated right away, drink order taken and given a few moments to look over the menu. Things I noticed instantly were how large the location is. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, their is a stage for live music as well as a full bar. It's definitely a country vibe, but really I could see it fun for most. The menu is small, but had some good options. If you're s health person this might not be for you since there isn't much in the way lighter options besides a few salads or an appetizer. Pretty quickly I decided on the hot chicken salad. It is a chicken breast fried with your choice of Buffalo or their Nashville hot sauce atop a basic salad with s good assortment of toppings like tomato, bacon crumbles, onion and the dressing mixed in. I opted for the Buffalo sauce, but on the side as I was unsure how hot it would really be. The waitress assured me it's less heat than the Nashville hot, but just to be safe on my weak stomach I asked for it on the side lol. My family member chose one of their burgers and a Caesar salad as the side instead of fries...balance ya know. When I tell you everything came out so quick I mean it. I was surprised at how fast they had it at our table. Everything looked delicious. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side because it definitely had a kick. My salad was fresh and the perfect amount of dressing mixed in. The lettuce was crispy and they didn't skip on size or toppings. The chicken was crispy, but still fairly moist. Honestly I loved the salad without the chicken as well. The portion was so large I took half of it home. The burger was cooked well and the Caesar salad again was amazing and fresh. The few things I disliked were the added credit card fee and the menu prices were pretty steep. I wanted the salmon, but $26 for lunch for one meal was too steep for me. Everything on the list you're looking on average at least $17. Again service was awesome, food good and came out quick. Full bar and live music alone I'm sure brings a crowd. All in...
Read moreI was recently let go from The Stillery after three years of working there as a hostess/ food runner and being promoted to server. I took pride in my work and developed a strong commitment to hospitality during my time there. Myself and several younger female colleagues who faced unwanted advances and comments from an older gentleman who also happens to be friends with the manager. I intervened after telling management and it being brushed off Unfortunately, management did not take steps to protect us or hold these customers accountable for their inappropriate behavior. Instead a negative review from this individual resulted in my immediate termination. Daily workplace expectations were frequently unrealistic, such as being held responsible for delays outside of my control (e.g., waiting on drinks from the bar), and there was a lack of clarity around end of shift responsibilities. I built strong relationships with many of my co workers who were around my age or older than me. Management lacked accountability and standards. They consistently failed to provide effective leadership or direction even when asked. Despite these issues I consistently upheld a high standard for myself and others. During a particularly demanding shift i preformed to the best of my ability with no negative feedback from management or customers throughout the night but was later written up for poor time management. The hardest part of the job was the constant stress from holding myself and others accountable. The best part of the job was learning my devotion to hospitality and learning many new and old country songs because of The Stillery. My intention was to create a safer, more respectful environment for all staff. I appreciate everyone’s understanding as I share this in the hope that future employees will be better supported and that these issues will be taken...
