For my last day with my company we decided we would order chipotle as my goodbye lunch. We ordered online, and my supervisor went to pick it up. I got mine, and first off they put wrong kind of salsa on it, disappointing but not a huge deal. Ao I start to mix it up and I notice a human hair in my food. It was a dark brown hair about 3" inches long. Disgusted, I pulled it out and threw it away and promptly gave Chipotle a call. A girl answered and I explain that we had just picked up and online order from there, I started out explaining that they had put the wrong salsa on and then I told them about the hair. She didn't apologize and rudely said well you need to bring it back to us and show us the hair. No apologies for messing up my order and then asking that I drive back, during my goodbye lunch and show them this hair in my food. Are you kidding me? I told her I would call her back after I spoke to my supervisor. He then chose to take it back, but I had already thrown away the hair at that point. I'm so unbelievably shocked at how rude and unapologetic she was. I mean for god sakes you messed up the order and there was a hair in it. I will not be returning here and I definitely will be stopping by after work today to talk to their manager about it.
*Update. My supervisor went to have the order remade, the supervisor on shift with blue hair is the one he spoke with. She said she couldn’t remake it because we didn’t bring the hair that I found in it. But then he said well, you still made the wrong thing. She was very rude and still hesitant to remake my order. Didn’t apologize. And to top it off the made it wrong AGAIN!!!!! At this point I was just hungry and too irritated to deal with it. I will be speaking to their manager and calling corporate. I am again, shocked by their actions and disgusted in how this situation...
Read moreI have come to this location for the last 4-5 years. Up until today, I have been very pleased with this location. I was next in line to place my order and witnessed one employee become upset with the other one because she had just made a takeout order too early. I watched the upset employee throw out 2 bowls and 3 large burritos that had just been made! There were several people in line behind me and you could hear them all say "whoa!" I knew the girl who made the order too early was new because I had never seen her before and I felt very bad for her. The upset employee then proceeded to grab the spoon away from the other girl to start making my order. When I got to the register, I asked the cashier what the upset girl's name was and he told me that he could not tell me that information, but that he could get the manager. So I told him to get his manager. The manager (tall older black guy) did come out and I told him that I had witnessed the girl throwing out enough food to feed 5-6 homeless people and I asked him if that was Chipotle's policy. He told me that it was their policy and that Chipotle does donate some of their food to the homeless. I am in disbelief that Chipotle would have a policy that allows employee's to throw out perfectly good food because it was made "too early" for a takeout order. Why not offer it to the customers in line or call the person who ordered it and ask them if they would be willing to pick the order up earlier. But to throw away perfectly good food like that makes me sick and now I never want to eat at Chipotle again. I also intend to tell my friends and family about this experience and to stay away from Chipotle. If this is in fact your policy, it should be changed. To waste perfectly good food like that in front of customers in my opinion, is extremely bad for business. I will not...
Read moreThe food is pretty consistent across all Chipotles. My visit today started out fine, I ordered two bowls. It was about 12:20, right in the middle of lunch hour. They had three employees lined up fulfilling the orders. They were polite and doing an awesome job. And the third Employee which was a polite female roughly 19-20 years old. Attempted to ask me if I would like anything else to go with my order. The fourth employee which was the cashier an older gentleman over 50 years old started yelling over her the same thing she was trying to politely ask me. Kind of like a drill sergeant mentality. I feel sorry for the employees that has to work with him. That is not a customer service attitude, that is a hostile work environment. I don't know if he's the manager or aspiring to be the manager. Either way he is not suitable for that position. He needs to be trained in customer service. I for one do not like to be yelled at. And I'm sure the morale is down with the employees that have to endure his attitude on a daily basis. I normally would have straightened him out on the spot myself, but as it was lunch rush I did not want to hold up the line plus I was running late myself. And just to be perfectly clear. He did Cut Her Off by yelling the same thing she was trying to politely ask me. Again, to be clear he cut her off but the words were directed at me. Therefore he was yelling at me, The Customer! So here I am writing the review, in hopes upper management will see this and address the issue. With that said, I will not be returning to this Chipotle. Sadly for the fact that everyone else...
