First Impressions Tucked into a modest strip mall on Scottsdale Road, Croque Famous Sandwiches might not catch your eye at first glance, but trust me, it’s a hidden gem worth discovering. 

Atmosphere & Vibe The interior is clean and straightforward, focusing on efficiency over elaborate decor. It’s the kind of place where the food does all the talking, and that’s perfectly fine by me.

What I Tried I opted for the #10 Croque Special - Capicola, salami, pickle, tomato, feta cheese, lettuce, all nestled in a fresh baguette. The flavors were well-balanced, and the homemade garlic sauce added a delightful kick. I also sampled the dumplings, a hearty and surprisingly filling appetizer as well as the steak fries. French fry snobs need not apply, these steak fries are crispy and served with ketchup, nothing special but they get the job done. The cookies are also worth a second look!

Service & Experience The staff was other-worldly friendly and efficient, ensuring orders were taken promptly and accurately. It’s evident they take pride in their offerings, and their recommendations were spot-on.

Pro Tips or Heads-Up Portion sizes are generous, so come hungry or consider sharing. Also, their homemade sauces, especially the garlic and remoulade are must-tries, so don’t skip them. 

Final Verdict Croque Famous Sandwiches delivers a fusion of flavors that satisfy both traditional and adventurous palates. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic sandwich or something with a Korean twist, this spot has you covered. I’ll definitely be returning for third time to explore more of their diverse menu.

I have been coming here for years.. loved the food always got great service …. I order a $20 sandwich and it’s made incorrectly…. I call as soon as I get home and see this… I offer to send a pic of it made incorrectly and I was told that’s ok… I asked if I could come in some other time and get it replaced ( because I would not eat it the way it was made) .. I come in a few days later and am told we are not doing this again?!!! I said do what? You made my food incorrectly and I asked for it to be replaced… seemed like I was more than reasonable.. I was never short or nasty on phone about it when it happened…. Stopped in for the first time & fell in love. This local business is on par (if not better) than Jersey Mike’s. I love a good cold cut sandwich & my go to test for a new spot is a ham & roast beef sandwich. As soon as I stepped foot in the door, someone was coming from the back to happily greet me. My sandwich wasn’t a set menu item but the person helping me did not hesitate in aligning my order with the closest item on the menu & adjusting toppings per my request. Order was to go and wait was maybe five minutes. When my sandwich was handed off, they also let me know they added a free potsticker & cookie to the bag! The bread is so fresh and fluffy.
