I went to have a quick lunch with friends and I brought coupons. I don’t know if the food service worker there was having a bad day or what the reason was but her tone of voice when helping me at the register to order food was like she was unhappy to help me order food. The place was empty besides from one customer waiting by the counter who ordered online. There was no one in the drive-thru when I went in. As to why she showed that tone towards me from the get go, I don’t know why. It wasn’t like it was a busy lunch hour in there at all. Even if it was, I didn’t expect that level of distress from a fast food worker. I tried to ignore her anguish tone because it’s fast food, I am not paying for good service so whatever, but what got on my nerves that broke the last string in me was she tried to overcharge me for my food. I was ordering $16 worth of food with a coupon, and she tried to charge me 20ish - 21 dollars. Taxes are not up charging my bill that much. I mean it’s only a few dollars but in addition to her poor attitude and service when I was ordering and her abnormal tone when I pulled out coupons just ticked me over the edge. I don’t want to put racism into the mix because that is a big accusation but one of my friends felt offended in that way in her tone of voice when helping us order at the counter so I am just putting it out there because I am not negating what my friend felt. I personally didn’t feel discriminated against by race but I felt scorned upon by her tone of voice and facial expressions after I pulled out coupons, and then it just went down hill from there with the service she provided and trying to overcharge me and such. Her manager came out to help with the situation after I raised my voice commenting to the food service worker, telling her that her level of service is terrible but the manager was trying to make excuses for her and that just escalating the negative tension between me and the food service worker. I raised my voice because she was trying to tell me that 20ish-21 dollars is correct for $16 worth of food and she was being rude about it after I asked her to double check like I was being fussy for just a few dollars. They kept saying that they will refund me my money but I just want my food. All I want is to be charged the correct amount and get my food and they were trying to give me a refund and get rid of me. I did end up getting my food there but my fries were undercooked and I didn’t finish my sandwich. I took it home and popped it in my microwave oven to cook it throughly before eating it. I’m never going back to this...
Read moreI’ve been to countless JnTB across the nation. This has to be, by far, the most ghetto I’ve ever come across. I arrive at 6 am. Order off the lunch menu, ask for condiments. They were out of 75% of them. They only had Ketchup, BBQ and honey mustard. I mean, how do you not have 1 taco sauce out of the abundance of tiny little packets? No ranch? Teriyaki? Come on. Perhaps there should be a new manager to order inventory. Aside from that I get a window attendant who barrages me with stories of excuses as to why they are out of everything with multiple expletives throughout the story. He was extremely polite and the curse words don’t bother me, however it’s just a horrible representation of the store and company. Then he yells back to the cook “Joe, where are my f** sandwiches? I need em now!” I wasn’t offended, however, it’s just trashy. Had it been my first experience, I would never return. I was astonished by the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. I get that this is a small city with “good ol boys” ...but it’s a horrible...
Read moreHere we go.... So I pulled into this Jack in the Box during a lunch break. I heard about a discount through their App. So I go to the app and could not get it to give me the discount. Plus I wasted over one half hour screwing around with the app trying to get the discount. So I don't have a problem with this location...my issue is with the nefarious app and the way it just kept redirecing me back to sign in. Not even the employees could figure out the problem. I do feel that the employees should have done something about the problem but nobody there had either the balls or the authority to just comp the item the app couldn't discount for me. This world is spiraling out of control into some void it will never be able to recover from. Society will have to recognize this or surely will be doomed to live in a world where the computers make all the decisions and us mortals will end up doing their bidding....
