I dropped in to the TBird for lunch on a Friday. The place is an intimately small tavern with about a dozen small tables and a sizable wrap around bar. It's dark as a cave, very low on lighting. They have a number of TVs mounted for sports fans. Only open a couple of months they seemed to have already gathered a number regulars, that undoubtedly return for the warm and friendly service. The food menu is small with typical pub grub and a few creative unique specials. I tried their burger and wings. Both were spectacular. The burger cooked to perfection and the wings were, as advertised, large pieces and crispy without being overcooked. Their house wing sauce is worth a try. If your looking for a simple comfy spot for a drink, watch a game, and a good meal, the TBird is...
Read moreBeer selection is depressingly poor, I can get better beers on tap at Chili's or a dive bar in Barstow. Truly bad. The food is incredible. The service is fine, not enough servers per table. Would definitely return, but I want to warn anyone who believes this is a "tavern", it's far from it. It's a small expensive sports bar with incredible food. This was my first experience at a place with Michelob Ultra on tap, yikes!! Nothing local other than a hazy and a blonde.. No browns, pale ales, ESBs, or milds. I'd be happy with even Sierra Nevada or Lagunitas, but apparently that's too much to ask for here. 10/10 recommend if you're hungry though! Best sweet potato fries of my life. Will...
Read moreWe love the atmosphere, cool vibe and good pours. Wasn't impressed with the food but we heard it was hit or miss. Cajun Dry rub wings have zero flavor. Cajun indicates spicy and flavorful. Prices are average. It was freezing cold inside so we were glad we had our leather jackets on which we kept on the entire time. Bartender seemed to be struggling to keep up on serving bar and 2 floor tables that were occupied at the same time as she was the only one waiting on folks. We will wait a few months to go back as they've only been open a couple months. I realize it takes time to get things rolling when opening a new place. I do look forward to a better...
