If I could give zero stars, I would. I went into this location because my family of 6 and I usually have a great experience in the past visits. But this time not so much, as we had a very poor experience with very poor food quality A very long wait time to be seated in to receive our order by the time it came to our table. Everything was cold, and next to no customer service at all. The concerns that I have first and foremost, is one; being that the waitress took our drink order, I ordered an iced tea that came to the table with little to no ice. I asked the waitress if she could bring me another cup with just ice so that I can pour my iced tea over it and that cup of ice never came. on the side of that I ordered a build your own grand slam. The first order of hotcakes came raw in the middle. When I asked if I can get it substituted for another order of hotcakes. The next order of hotcakes came with one side of the cakes, raw and uncooked hadn’t been even flipped over on the grill. At this point, I just sent the hotcakes back because I was uninterested in what was gonna come out of that kitchen next, I asked if my order could be taken off the bill since everything else on my plate was ready cold. I was told I would have to replace it with something else when I ordered another order of hashbrowns that also never came, at that point I asked for my check, waited another 20 minutes before the waitress came back. My family became uneasy and headed out to our vehicle as I sat and waited for a check At that point I asked for a manager. The manager came over to the table had no customer service whatsoever. When I was explaining my concerns to him he had no reaction no apology and a 100% lack of care and completely uninterested in addressing my concerns. With a complete disregard to my concerns, didn’t comp my meal or apologize for the poor customer service and poor quality of food, he took off 9$ from my bill which didn’t even cover my plate, all he was worried about was cashing out the check. I will never return to this location me and my family will take our business elsewhere. I have never experienced the type of Customer Service I received at this location today anywhere I have ever been. I am completely and utterly disappointed and definitely will not recommend anyone to this...
Read moreDenny's is one of the few places left open 24 hours a day. Went with a friend mostly for a quiet place to talk around midnight. It was pretty slow there and we had two waitresses all over us trying to get our order and finally said to them that we would call them when we were ready to order. Friend wanted something light and not fried, like a salad. They were all out of salad and everything else on the menu was pretty much fried. I had a club sandwich that was very good although a little pricey. I was asked what kind of fries I wanted with my sandwich, kind of mislead not knowing that fries were charged as a separate menu item. When it came time to leave the waitress we ended up with couldn't wait to give this our check although there was no one waiting for our table. They don't take your money from the table, you have to pay at the register. If you pay with a credit card, you have predetermined tips that you can check off. 18% was the minimum and I didn't even want to check that off, but did. Most Denny's across the country are pretty good and we probably just had a bad experience at this one on this night.
FOLLOW-UP VISIT: After my initial visit and review, I received a response from Jasmine, one of the night managers, asking me to come in for another visit so they could make everything perfect. Well, I took them up on their offer and returned a few weeks later on the same day and time as the original visit, with the same friend who had accompanied me the first time. We were greeted and served by Rex, the other night manager. He was very cordial as I explained the circumstances of my prior visit. Rex was truly concerned about the reputation of his Denny's and even gave me a brief history lesson. The original Denny's donuts started in 1953 in California, and this Denny's started in 1956, so it's one of the oldest Denny's in existence and has a lot of pride to go along with it. My friend was in luck because they had salad with grilled chicken that looked fantastic and there wasn't any left on the plate. I had a t-bone steak with two sides that was totally enjoyable and fulfilling. I now change my review to five stars which Denny's and it's staff deservedly earned. Thank you for inviting me back and you will definitely...
Read moreI ordered a Classic burger, which is the current special they're running at $8.99, and was charged $13 twice now. I didn't catch it until the second day because I have been focused on my father's death and planning services. I told the manager what happened after the cashier called me and he was trying to sell me on the difference in the BYO burger and the classic. I ordered the classic and said that multiple times. It was clear he didnt want to deal with fixing the transaction. I went outside to continue the phone call with my family member instead of having an emotional explosion in the restaurant. I was ready to scream at that man. The lack of care, concern, attentiveness, and listening ability was abhorrent. I ordered what I wanted and you rang in something else. I point that out and then you start convincing me what you rang was better after I've clearly expressed what I wanted and that what you rang was incorrect. The correct answer was "Im sorry let me correct that." Its simple. The fact that your manager couldn't get to that after a 5-10 minute conversation is embarrassing. If I had the composure I would have continued the conversation further until your incredibly thick manager understood me, but due to my emotional instability from my fathers death, which is why I came to you for food instead of cooking for myself, I had to remove myself from the situation. I cannot express how disappointed and upset I was by this experience. Was it really worth the extra $5? Did you feel good about your upsell? Why cant I just have what I ordered without having to have a business length meeting about it? Bizarre, unpleasant expierence. DO not recommend the service here. I HIGHLY recommend retraining your staff. Ive worked in restaurants for 10+ years and managed several. You should be ashamed and need...
