This is MY Dunkin store. Not that I own it or anything like that, just that it is my nearest location, just a quarter mile from home, and I favor Dunkin products over most others. The single exception being.........the donuts! Lamars are so much better! Sorry DD! That said, I have a great time almost every time I go here. I usually go through the drive through, and the service is always cheerful and pleasant, and they always get my order right. Which makes me a bit curious, because this store tends to be really busy during the morning hours almost every day, and the drive through can be a real, um.....adventure! So I wonder whether the staff is really even aware of the frustration driven warfare going on outside some mornings. Last week, I actually saw two women nearly come to blows (one of them was out of her car and leaning into the other ones car window "screaming" at her) because she had "cut" in front of her. See, the way this store and its drive through are situated forces any drive through traffic greater than 3 cars into the main access thouroughfare of the strip mall it is in, so the 4th car in line has to queue up on the other side of the drive, which allows a potential "cutter" coming from the other direction the opportunity to sneak in. If there are more than 6 or 7 cars queued up (which happens frequently), the same thing happens at the junction of the entrance into the parking lot off 19th ave, as cars in the queue at this point have to queue up to the south in order to avoid blocking traffic, leaving a gap that someone coming in from the street might jump into. Now.....to anyone who has been walking around on the planet longer than 8 or 10 years, it is obvious that the considerate thing to do is to circle around the lot and queue up at the end of the very obvious line, but it seems there are always those who feel like social courtesy norms don't apply to them, or they're in too much of a hurry to be nice or whatever, but I have to laugh when I inevitably see the conflicts I know are coming. Dang people! Take a chill pill! Some people are just flat rude and others have zero patience. Anyway, seems to me like DD staff must see all this going on, yet they seem to feel no pressure to do anything different. I used to think they must be understaffed, but now I know better, cause I always see between 4 and 7 people in there through the dt window. DD staff: there are remedies to this! Take a lesson from CHICk-FIl-A. You have ample parking. So when you look outside and the dt line is starting to snake through the lot, get someone out there taking orders and have folks park and wait! Just sayin'!. Oh....wait...if you do that, I wouldn't be as entertained as...
Read moreOne car ahead of me when I decided to make a quick drive thru between Dr's appointments. Ordered a LG. Hazelnut Latte w/Almond Milk, and a Turkey Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on a Croissant. Sat waiting 5 minutes before the car ahead of me got a bag handed to them and a few more before being handed a coffee that looked alot like my usual. When I drive up to the window, the girl only repeated the total due and scanned my phone for payment. Then she tried handing me some weird looking drink, which I informed her wasn't mine and repeated my order. She sat that drink to the side and left the window. No one that was visible from the window was wearing a mask, so when the girl came back wearing one, I was pleased, albeit short lived. She still wasn't speaking to me and I still had nothing to eat or drink in my possession. I had been at the window going on 10 minutes at this point with 3 cars visible in my rearview mirror. The lady behind her, that made my sandwich, wanted to know what else I was waiting on. Also not speaking to me, just staring at me while asking the girl. She only stated that I was waiting for my drink! Which prompted me to I inform the lady of my drink, to which she responded I already made that. I informed her I didn't have it at which point she did a quick look at the beverages sitting there and then walked away. No one still having spoken to me, and now the girl wasn't even making eye contact. When the other lady turned up with another beverage, the girl again tried to give it to me, which both me and the other lady informed her at the same time that it wasn't mine. I finally got mine next, but all the girl said was here! No apology for my almost 20 minutes waiting at the window, so approximately 30 minutes total waiting for a Latte and a sandwich in the drive-thru. Very frustrating and I am sure the cars behind me were...
Read moreI always preferred this location over the other one near 19th ave and deer valley but idk if the workers changed locations but this one is going downhill. I have been coming to this Dunkin every other day and get a strawberry cc bagel and a refresher and the guy taking my order at 5am sounds annoyed every time and today my order was completely wrong and it’s not worth it to even come back. I’d make a complaint but I understand having bad days and I don’t want to affect the workers even though they somewhat ruined my breakfast. I asked for my drink to have light ice and they completely filled the cup with ice (more than usual) I couldn’t get my straw through the cup because there was so much ice! I asked for a bagel and I thought usually they put it on for you (every Dunkin I go to does that) instead I was parked for 10 minutes for just a bagel and when I opened the bag it had no cream cheese on it and instead they just threw the cream cheese package in the bottom of the bag with no knife so I’m just like…are we being lazy now or do we really just not care. I could’ve put it on myself but at least include the utensils if you’re going to not care to assemble the...
