Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Phoenix

We stopped by this location 2 days ago (in the late afternoon). We were going to the Costco & needed a pick me up before entering the wildness of the Costco lol. It was not busy (for db standards), but it was 116° that day (I believe) so obviously they didn’t have people working outside. No biggie. We pull into the line & my daughter says “I’ll just run up to the walk up” I said great! She goes & I pull out of line & park beside the dumpster that is by the exit. My daughter orders the coffee & apparently the girl who helped her was hella rude…. Idk I wasn’t there, but that’s what she said. Anyways, I look over & a girl is dumping garbage. I smile & wave. She smiles back & says something, but idk what so I roll down the window. I say hi how are you? She says good, but I’m so sorry you can’t park here. I said no worries, I’m so sorry my daughter is up @ the walk up getting coffee….. THEN…. out of nowhere this other girl in a hat & bad skin & apparently having a bad day says “if I would’ve known she was with you, I would’ve NEVER served you guys!” Now, I have never been to this db & I surely don’t know her so naturally I’m so confused… I was so taken aback, I said not 1 word. She now is by my driver side window & says “move your car! Now!” I said “ where would you like me to move it to?” She said “off this property! Pull out & go around the corner & down the road!” Now mind you, this chick is BEYOND aggressive in her tone, when I say she was absolutely livid, I am not exaggerating…. She was livid! Oh, & the expression on her face…. The scowl of a person who absolutely hates someone. It was wild.Again, I have no clue what her issue was since I don’t know her from a hole in the wall. So I move my car off the property. My daughter comes out & gets in, & asks what happened? Why am I way over here? So I tell her & I specifically point out the chick in the hat who btw is still standing in the driveway, arms crossed, scowl, watching us/ me…. So bizarre. My daughter says, “oh that’s the girl who helped me she was hella rude. I think she’s pissed off at the world or hates her life” I said what happened? She says I went to order your coffee & she completely lost it. I said what happened? She said that she couldn’t remember the name of the drink I like & explained it to the girl. The girl says there’s nothing like that… my daughter says it’s a mocha latte w some hazelnut. Yall can make an iced latte, add chocolate & some hazelnut, right? She scoffs at my daughter. So I ask my daughter, “do you know her bc her aggressiveness towards both of us is outrageous “ she says “mom, I have never seen that girl in my life, I have no idea who she is.” I said ok, I may post about this but I’m not sure. I sat on this for a couple days & went back & forth & decided if I owned a business & I had an employee who acted in such an egregious manner towards not 1 but 2 clients, I’d definitely want to know bc that is a direct reflection of me & my business. Well, this girl is a direct reflection of this business which after being a long time client, I know this behavior definitely does not align with db values. I have been a Dutch client since before they came to Az & in all my years, I’ve never experienced behavior like this from a db. Anyways, as stated, I struggled with posting this bc of my love...

I have had the worst experience ever with order ahead. I unexpectedly had an emergency happen and was unable to get my pick up at the scheduled time. I tried to call and it goes to corporate which closes at 4pm. So I go to the store a few hours later, to see if they can give me, my order or what they can do. His tone was off putting completely. I sat at the window waiting for him to say something to me, after looking at me a couple times standing there, for a couple cars then he just opens the window and says "hold on". I then say can I just ask you about an order ahead from earlier please. So I explain to the guy that was working that I was unable to get my pick up order which was one drink and one bread, and he tells me he has no way of knowing if my order was already picked up and there's nothing he can do for me. Continues to say he just has no one of knowing if I'm trying to get one over on them. And to call corporate to get a refund. I then left and attempted to contact corporate via chat and email. After 5 days of going back with them they offered a free drink. Not a refund. I tell them no I ordered a bread, a drink with add ins and such and that wasn't an even refund. So they offered me two free drinks instead. I said ok if that's where I'm at it might be about even. Still have not received that, so I messaged back and was told they were on my account. Well they're not. I just wanted what I paid for, or my money back. I feel so ripped off and so offended. Do they really have no way of showing if an order was picked up? I have worked in many restaurants, you usually have a way of tracking these things. It's just not right. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's lost money. Crazy that you can't contact the store or cancel an order or do anything about an order once you place it. Life happens things come up. It's wrong at the level of fighting I've had to do so they could make it right, and they...

Unfortunately I had to change my review from 5 stars to just 1. Im extremely disappointed in this location and honestly all but this one in particular because this is my go to place. I went to grab some drink’s yesterday and there was a line and probably stood there for about 10 minutes and I found it strange because it usually moves quick but the people that were taking the orders kept talking to this customers for almost 15 minutes and there was a big line behind them and the worker looked at the line and kept talking to that one particular customer I was in shock but that wasn’t it there was this black truck that seems to be a regular and he was next in line to order and took about another 15 minutes chatting with the worker and once it was his time to get his drink he stops talking but as soon as he gets in front he talking to a barista for 15 minutes nonstop. I was honestly annoyed because I had an important place to go and you have careless people taking their time. It’s unacceptable to have a long conversation that holds up a huge line! Summertime is coming and I hope the conversation don’t continue! Please Dutch Bros make a change! This is ridiculous and I love going there but if this continues I will no...
