I came in at 4:30pm and there were no other customers, I wasn’t greeted at all, there was a kid in a bucket hat that was making a sub, I stood at the counter for at least five minutes before I yelled out “Hi!”. He mumbled “be with you in a minute”. I asked him about the caprese pesto sub that was online but wasn’t on their menu above the counter (the one in store had salami and online didn’t). He had no idea there was a different caprese sub that you could get without salami, and just mumbled to me “idk but ours has salami, that’s the only one we have”. So I asked him what else is on the one with salami, he starts mumbling as fast as he can all the different toppings. I had to tell him he was going too fast and I couldn’t understand him. Turns out it was all the same ingredients minus the salami, but the kid didn’t have enough brains to figure out he could make that sub without the salami… He was the only one there until I left when another worker showed up. The sandwich itself tasted OK but left me feeling like it could have been better since the tomatoes were barely there. Last time I was here almost a year ago I remember also having bad customer service. I’m surprised this place is still in business. I usually go to Jersey Mikes or Subway which are nearby. I don’t plan on coming back. If the owner cared about this store they would be reading the comments themselves instead of some other corporate team...
Read morePlaced an online order for this location and got my confirmation email at 11:12AM. A few minutes later the "manager" calls me and say she doesn't have anyone available to deliver until 12 because she's working by herself. She said she had someone coming in at noon at she'd be making the delivery herself at that time. We live close (5 minutes away tops)so when it got to be 12:20 PM I called to see where our order was and was surprised to hear the same woman answer the phone. I asked where the food was and she said they got swamped and hadn't made it yet or sent it for delivery. I told her to forget it and cancel the order. She didn't even seem to care and just said "well you have a nice day". Used to go here quite a bit, won't ever go back again. Jersey Mike's it right across the street and I've never had any issues their.
UPDATE: jeez... decided to give this specific location another try as I've had good luck at other locations. Same result! Went in last Thursday, 3 customers in the place, one dark haired younger guy working behind the counter making something. Walked up to the register, no greeting and he never even looked up to see who was their. Waited for a couple minutes and bailed. Still the same service model.......
Read moreI had an unpleasant first experience here, cashier was not friendly, did not smile, rushed me through my (first ever order), huffed and puffed about me asking for my sandwhich veggies to be put on the side, and I felt like all the workers were glaring at me as I took my sandwhich and left, also they were playing “the big red radio”, and had a sign up that said “no hippies allowed”, which ive never seen a sign like that in any establishment, made me feel completely unwelcomed at that point.. and I got a sandwich for dinner on my road trip and when I finally opened it, it was the lamest sandwich with dry old bread and like a minuscule amount of turkey, after such an unwelcoming experience, now I understand why “hippies arent welcome here”.. lol, being labeled as one my whole life, A hippie is really just someone who loves love and joy and kindness and good energy, so if you don’t want that in your restaurant (which is what it felt like), then I will...
