MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

We usually go to the Scottsdale location, but were down in the area near this Mod Pizza.

While the food was good the workers were not. The guy making our pizza just threw ingredients on our pizzas and I ended up having some pieces with no cheese and other parts drowning in cheese. I even asked him when he was making to spread everything out, but he just couldn't do it (he tried but obviously either did not care or literally did not have the skill). I also found a random artichoke on my pizza that appeared after it came out of the oven - likely fell off someone elses pizza.

The worst part was that while we were eating, we saw this worker not wearing gloves (everyone else was) handling the salad ingredients and then they dropped tongs on the floor and put them back up on the salad counter. Same thing when they moved over to the pizza section and dropped the dough roller on the floor.

Additionally, I have never seen a Mod Pizza with so much cheese and random toppings sitting on the floor. Likely due to the lack of care from the young guy making pizzas and just throwing...

New to the Mod Pizza concept I visited the site in person to check things out. I talked to Jackie at the 7th ave and Osborn location yesterday. I was hosting a family gathering on Mother's Day and needed everything to be perfect for a 13 pizza order. Jackie wrote down all the toppings for me and said she would be working that day and to ask for her when I called to place my order. Thank you, Jackie Sooo..I called my order in today and was told that Jackie wasn't working after all. After placing my 13 pizza order after a bit of a hassle with the 7th ave site, we picked up the pizzas. I was reprimanded upon pick up by the staff that I should have ordered online......maybe to order one pizza but NOT 13. Not online--sorry On a good note.....the pizza is tasty AND because I talked to a human at the site to order on the phone--every single one of the pizzas was exactly...

Don’t get me wrong - I LOVE me some MOD Pizza! This is my local location and I love that it’s so close to my neighborhood so I can pop in for a pie anytime. My only reason for not giving all 5⭐️ across the board is because whenever I stop in, the staff are nice, considerate, and patient, but seemingly not because they want to be. The ladies that are often in there seem very much like they do not want to be there. Often not smiling or showing any real emotion at all. I’m not upset by this, it doesn’t make me angry, I just would like to see them a little happier to work there. If they aren’t happy to work there, it shows. It makes the atmosphere feel very much like “get your pie and get out”. I’m hoping that MOD management sees this and is able to help bring up the morale at...
