Have ordered here a couple times before and the food is okay... Noodles and Tofu comes out like Cabbage and Tofu..
Besides that, the disrespect towards customers is what earns this place a one star rating. Ordered “Tofu, Noodles, and Veggies” over the phone and was given Pho soup. When I walked back in after looking at the food in my car, I politely told the cashier that my food was not prepared correctly or the what I had asked for.. the lady began to argue with me at the front of the restaurant telling me I ordered the pho soup when I never said such thing..
Here’s the 5 star customer service dialogue.
Me: “mam I asked for tofu noodles and veggies” the number #20..
her response “no you didn’t you ordered tofu noddles veggie soup, #18... and then proceeded to look at me as if I was supposed to walk out of the restaurant with the food I didn’t even order?
Me: no I didn’t I just asked for noodles, tofu, and vegetables, I come here all the time and always order the same thing and order it the same way. this is not what I ordered I’m not going to eat this”
her response “you ordered it wrong, you ordered it wrong, it’s your mistake”... this was in front of other customers at this point.
After a heavy bargaining as the customer.... she allowed for the food that I had originally ordered to be made. Thank the lord.
She then at the front of the register began to tell me that what I originally ordered cost more then what I got.. so I offered to pay the 0.30 cent difference at which point she said no...
She continued to tell me it was my fault and that I THE CUSTOMER ordered the food wrong?
I feel like I not only had to pay for my food but also have to beg for it to be the ACTUAL food I ordered...
I’m a very non confrontational person and have never posted a google review.. but this place definitely deserves it.. what a...
Read more4 stars would be rounding up from 3.8 if that were a possible option. My first time eat here and I wasn't impressed with the service I received. The pho soup i ordered in addition to two others that order pho in our group came out later than the other entrees for the rest in our group.
First, the young man who took our drink order was just a little to friendly leaving me the impression that he was not properly trained as a waiter or host. He took our drink order but came back later to take our order without drinks in hand. I did remind him about our drinks but he dismissed it with a large smile and slightly sarcastic remark. So for his service i was not impressed.
The restaurant was small but definately not for large groups. There were 6 in our party and nothing was done to accommodate our party comfortably. Being in Phoenix, air conditioning is crucial for any indoor dining experience, yet it was a bit warm inside. This is part of the reason for the 3.8 rating I'd like to give.
I ordered hot tea but i was last to receive my drink. If my assumption is correct, the hot tea I ordered was $5.95 w/$2.50 refill (Thai tea). Perhaps another tea option would have been good (i.e. green tea, etc). Sodas were from cans at a cost of 2.95. A little costly for canned soft drinks for my tastes.
I've ordered pho (#25) before for take out. This was perhaps the only positive. Having the soup for take out was not the same as having it in the restaurant. Although i added the condiments, I'm sure the soup/broth would...
Read moreCame upon this place because the other place we were looking at was closed. Upon arrival we were asked for there or togo, the place had a couple of other parties already so we took our time looking at the menu to order togo. We had a fairly large order, a couple of soups, appetizers, and thai teas. It was quite quick service and when they brought the meals out they asked if we needed help figuring out which dish was which. I said we could figure it our on our own, but that was a mistake. Three of our soups were missing ingredients, and that would have been caught if we checked the meals with her when she asked. I feel like I can't be too upset because the dishes we ordered would have costed the same as the dishes we got, so we didn't go back. However, overall the rare steak pho was delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful. The shrimp egg rolls were crisp, seemed smaller than expected. The spring rolls with pork and shrimp were a little sad, kind of tasted like they were pre-made a day ago or the rice wrap wasn't soaked for long enough, but the peanut sauce was perfect. Even with the missing brisket and steak from the dishes we still managed to come out of this meal...
