3/25/24: had a craving for a great smoothie. We actually have a new Juicy bar five minutes from our house, but it does not come close to Robeks. That is why we happily drive 20 minutes to eat their deliciousness.
My mind was set on a smoothie but instead, I bought us a couple of their acai bowls. What a great decision! They are large and have so much flavor. Best of all, their bowls and the bowl lids are commercially compostable. Their staff has always been polite and courteous.
Now that the temps are rising, I expect we will become regular patrons of Robeks.
11/7/23: only recently discovered this colorful gem while driving down 24th St and finally decided to stop in. The young gentleman behind the counter was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and patient, as we perused the menu.
I ordered the Awesome Acai smoothie (Strawberries, Banana, Raspberry Sherbet, Non-Fat Frozen Yogurt, Acai Juice) while my sister ordered the fig & prosciutto toast (fig spread, prosciutto, cream cheese, olive oil, black pepper and sourdough toast).
Let me tell you, I sucked that smoothie down like there was no tomorrow -- it was that good! My sister devoured her toast, too. In fact, we were driving elsewhere this morning for breakfast and she mentioned Robeks toast, saying how delicious it was.
It was so good I downloaded the app & started earning points. We have been back a couple times, and all the staff so far have been friendly. We will definitely be returning.
Another thing I really liked was the toast plate was compostable. My only wish is that their other containers would be, too. But for now, at least it is recyclable. Maybe eventually they'll even let us bring in our own glass jars for, you know, saving the planet and...
Read moreSooo I come to this location weekly…. Most of the team knows me by name at this point. I ordered my usual strawnana Acai bowl today around 8:50 Am. This time the amount they put in the bowl was NOTICEABLY different.. (I’d know because I get it so often. It was BELOW the line). Maybe a little above half way filled. When she handed it to me, I immediately asked “did something change? Why is it so low?” She really didn’t say anything but sorry. I walked out & then walked back in to speak to the other girl. She said “we’re not allowed to fill it up because it will squish the fruit” …. She then said she can’t make me any more. I took a deep breath, said no worries & walked out. Just a word of advice because I love this location & I’d hate to go somewhere else. Please listen to your customers! Your customers are the reason the business exists. Fixing the problem & making your customer happy is better than losing one forever. I work at a brunch restaurant & my main goal is to make sure my customers leave happy. So the fact that I didn’t leave happy today is unfortunate. Esp because I come...
Read moreI recently revisited this store after a break, and I must say, the transformation in customer service is remarkable! During my visit, it appeared the owner himself was managing the orders. Despite seeming a tad unfamiliar with the ordering process, his dedication and effort were commendable. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was top-notch. This personal touch added a unique warmth to the service. Previously, my experiences here were dampened by the staff's customer service approach. However, this visit marked a significant improvement. It’s clear that the store has invested in enhancing customer interaction, making it a priority. This positive change has not only uplifted the store’s ambiance but also reinstated my faith in their commitment to customer satisfaction. I'm genuinely impressed with the progress and look forward to more visits. It’s heartening to see a local business evolve and excel in customer engagement. Keep up...
