First off, Salad and Go, thank you for existing because I barely ate vegetables or salads before you were around. They make healthy food delicious and affordable and are a real asset to the community. They deserve an award, in my opinion. Key to the city, maybe?
That being said, this location is good but has some cons, too. It is kind of a pain to get to with traffic and trying to get in and out of the drive-through. They don't have a lane for online pickup. I have tried to pick up through the drive-through when their spots were full, but the staff was very unpleasant about it even though I explained the predicament.
Our orders have been messed up a few times, but the online customer service is quick to remedy the situation and send me a coopin. I will say that ordering online is better for a couple of reasons. One, you can customize your order better and easier. Two, if you try to order through the drive-through and customize it, the employees sometimes don't know the system very well and will overcharge. An example of this is we usually get two salad dressings, which is included ordering through the app, but some employees don't know it's not an up charge and refuse to give me a second packet without me paying more. It's just much easier ordering through the app, more accurate, and with fewer discrepancies.
We really love salad and go and hope to see more pop up around these areas and the valley. They should all include a drive-through for online orders. Their drinks are always amazing, and Arnold Palmers are the best. The breakfast burritos are good for the price. Ingredients are decent. The breakfast bowls are usually small in portion and maybe not worth it for some unless you double up. Keep up the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSalad and go has really gone downhill :/ I used to be a daily regular customer but now I only go about once a month as a last resort, just to check if itās gotten betterā¦today was not the day.
I usually get a Greek salad + tofu, no olives or I get the Thai salad. For the past year, my Greek salad has been full of old soggy cucumber, old soggy onion, and old wrinkly soggy tomatoes. Given the only edible part of my salads have been lettuce, cheese, and dressing, I completely gave up on the Thai salad. I have had consistently gross, soggy, inedible expired veggies in my salad and I very rarely get salads anymore :(
The breakfast wraps are very inconsistent but still worth getting if Iām in a pinch. The inedible ones are SALTED AS HECK with small portions of BURNT CRUSTY egg and ALL the cheese is in a wad in one end of the burritoā¦itās an over salted wad of tortillas. The great ones are toasted, actually full of extra egg, with cheese spread out evenly enough and a palatable amount of salt. Itās a burrito, not a used wad of salty tortilla.
Overall, the quality of food has noticeably dropped, the quantity has dropped, and the price has risen. I really used to love salad and go but after months of stank veggies and inedible burritos for MULTIPLE locations (sorry to dump on just this one location in particular when its all of them), i honestly only go out of curiosity and sheer hope that itās gonna make a comeback.
Iām no longer surprised that the salad and go in fashion square is gone. I sincerely hope things...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSalad and Go is our go-to spot for healthy, delicious salads on the go. From the moment we pull up to the drive-thru, we're always impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. But it's the variety of salads and the huge portions that really set Salad and Go apart.
One of the things we love most about Salad and Go is the variety of salads available. Whether we're in the mood for a classic Caesar or something more exotic like the Thai peanut or the Mediterranean, there's always something to choose from. We particularly appreciate the variety of vegetarian and vegan options, which are just as tasty as their meaty counterparts.
Another thing we love about Salad and Go is the portion size. The salads are always huge, and they're packed full of a variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients. We never leave feeling hungry, and we always feel like we're getting our money's worth.
But it's not just the salads that are impressive at Salad and Go. The menu is full of a variety of healthy options, from wraps and chicken boxes to soups and lemonades. We've tried a number of these dishes, and we've always been impressed by the quality and flavor.
Overall, we can't recommend Salad and Go enough. If you're looking for a healthy, convenient meal on the go, look no further. Salad and Go has it all - delicious salads, huge portions, and a friendly, efficient drive-thru experience. We can't wait to go back and try more of their...
