Taco Bell — Restaurant in Phoenix

Update: Fast food restaurants can be great one month and crap the next. Currently 3/30/25 the staff sucks. My husband and I ate there late at night a couple weeks ago and they forgot one of his chalupas. When he went in to get it, they made a big production out of it, made him show receipt (5 minutes had passed since we went through the DT) and the cook made a derogatory comment about his Trump shirt. Hello, you don’t do that to customers!

Also, the basic looking white girl with long dark brown hair that works mornings is very RUDE. Twice now she has refused to acknowledge or speak to me. Just hands the food through the window, ignores my “thank you” and continues her earbuds personal call before even turning around and closing the window. Glad I moved and this is my last time going there! Unfortunately these people aren’t going to ever do much better than fast food if they can’t even be successful at that.

Original review: As of last week, the current daytime employees are awesome. I only recently started coming to this one because 16th & Bethany is currently dead to me. Horrible service went through the drive through ordered 8 price family meal they asked me to pull to the front cause they were making it fresh 15 minutes later a employee comes out with a bag and hands it to someone in a car 5 minutes later I'm still waiting for mine so I walk in and asked him where is my order I have two kids in the car and it is hot one of the young employee said he already went out and gave it to me and asked me for a receipt like I was a liar or a thief so I went out to my truck got the receipt came back in and he said oops I'll remake it for you 15 minutes later I finally get the food but I'm missing six piece hush puppies so he says oops again and tell me that he will make them 10 minutes later I finally get the hush puppies so I go home to eat and I go to buy into the hush puppies and they're solid as a rock and the Fish and Chicken was cold and Soggy the whole time the girl that took my order in the drive thru was on her phone texting and when I told the guy that the hush puppies were missing he threw a tantrum horrible horrible experience when all said and done my kids are going to bed hungry because I will not feed them this...

This location is deplorable. I placed a mobile order for 10 Black Bean Tacos and called the store to inform management that they had made them incorrectly--giving me refried beans instead of actual black beans...which honestly was fine considering that the manager Erica assured me that she would have them remade and replaced the following day. Erica was kind enough to take my name and note the replacement order so that I could return and have them made with no complication.

(Flash forward) The following day, I call the store and an employee named Jeff picks up. Not only did he interrupt me several times as I was trying to relay my concern, he didn't listen nor provide any smidgen of customer service as he exclaimed erroneously "So how many burritos was it?" Trying to remain in good faith that Jeff would activate some latent sense of professionalism, I repeated myself once again hoping he'd ceased interrupting. Jeff then went even further, by demonstrating energy that was unbefitting for one who actually enjoys what they do in life. I do hope that Jeff seeks outs other endeavors in the future as he is clearly not happy...
