We had been avoiding this place for over a year because of unfavorable reviews. We drove by an noticed a sign indicating new ownership so we stopped in. We chatted with the friendly server who told us two brothers now own it (we could see them working hard in the kitchen). We opted to try pizza and were thrilled with the Little Italy pizza - it’s our new favorite pizza hands down. My other half loves sausage and I’m not a fan, but this sausage is not the typical fatty slime most places use. Their sauce has a lovely tang to it and their pepperoni is perfectly spiced. Even their crust is delish. I’m always skeptical when ordering a house salad- there is nothing more disappointing getting a pile of iceberg lettuce drenched in some jar dressing. Campanella’s makes their own dressing (YUM) and it’s served on tasty mixed greens (no icebergs in sight) They clearly care about the ingredients they use which is a huge WIN in my book…now if I could just get my other half to eat a salad 🙄 UPDATE: They have completely remodeled and it looks LOVELY! They have taken the worn out old school Italian pizza kitchen vibe and have transformed it into a bright beautiful dining space! We go here at least twice a month. From the meatballs to the Alfredo and then to the spectacular house made sangria- the brothers have transformed this restaurant into a wonderful dining experience.

Campanella’s Italian Restaurant absolutely blew us away. Hands down, the Chicken Marsala was the best I have ever had in my life—no exaggeration. The sauce was rich and velvety, the chicken perfectly tender, and the flavors were so layered and deep it felt like the culinary version of a symphony. I would rate it 100 out of 10 if I could. It wasn’t just good—it redefined what Chicken Marsala should taste like. The Rigatoni Bolognese my wife ordered? Simply divine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauce was hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with love and time. You could taste the authenticity in every bite. From the atmosphere to the service, everything was warm, welcoming, and quietly elegant. Campanella’s isn’t just a great Italian restaurant—it’s a new standard for what Italian food should be. We’ll be back. Often. This place deserves far more than five stars—it’s truly worthy of Michelin recognition.

Went off-menu here to order a NYC favorite Chicken Park sandwich with Vodka Sauce. The staff was super friendly even though it was kind of a weird request. Also grabbed one of their Strombolis! I watched the kitchen slide this beauty in the oven myself and when I say this is a craft kitchen, I mean it. Great ingredients, great service.. and the only thing that really matters.. GREAT TASTE! My sandwich was incredible! Cheesy, the chicken was seasoned and fried perfectly, and that vodka sauce was to die for. I begged them to make this a permanent fixture on the menu. Then I had the Stromboli.. also absolutely delicious. There’s something about fresh dough that makes a Stromboli stand out and you can taste it here. Highly, highly recommend this spot! (And help me get them to put the Vodka Sauce Chicken Parm on the menu!)

I didn't have a chance to experience this restaurant husband purchased gift certificates for this establishment but due to him becoming ill and the pandemic they now have new owners and they won't except the gift certificate. Speaks values maybe it's best for me. This restaurant will never be one I will visit if it was the only Italian restaurant in Florida. Thanks to the new owner. It's not about free food, I didn't realize it was new owners the young lady answering the phone replied let her ask she came back and said they have new owners my guess that would be you. I wish your business much success. I won't be participating in making that happen, I rather spend my money elsewhere not at your establishment. Your response can ruin your on business. Good luck and have a blessed life. The gift certificates had no expiration date on them by the way I shredded them because I will never set foot in your restaurant. And I won't spend one of my hard working dollars to visit your restaurant you could of gain a customer but instead you lost one doesn't matter to you. I read some of the reviews you lost others customers maybe you need to focus on better food and customer service. Good luck hope food and service is better than the owner response. I will never forget how rude the owner is at this restaurant. Most of the new reviews are hidden but keep reading and the truth will be revealed. Hope all is well and if you feel the need to apologize maybe I will edit or take down my post. Yes, Maybe. How you spoke to me on the phone will stay with me forever. I never wanted anything for free was just asking a question. I didn't know the business was sold my husband live Italian food thanks too you we never got to visit, he purchased the gift certificate and yes COVID came he was ill. Finally he got better called and encountered the new owner. I hope you changed but reading some of the reviews you don't care about running your business...

Extremely disappointed tonight after having a really good dining experience our previous dinner @ Campanella’s. Tonight we ordered 18 naked wings because my son makes his own Buffalo Sauce, a large Greek Salad and a side of Garlic Bread. The wings were extremely disappointing they were so heavily breaded and no bigger than my thumb that you barely could taste any chicken and when you could taste the chicken it was extremely mealy. It actually tasted as if the chicken disintegrated in your mouth a horrific taste and they were $23. The Greek Salad $11.50 description clearly says Romaine Lettuce and when I got home it was shredded Iceberg Lettuce and was terrible with very little taste. The Garlic Bread $2.50 was just bland and tasted just flavorless. $42 with tip. I let the Restaurant know our dissatisfaction and asked for the house salad $8.50, side of meatballs $5.75 and a piece of Tiramisu $6 to replace and for me to drive back a second time. They said they would have to charge me for the Meatballs and Tiramisu. They would give me the House Salad for free mind you it is $8.50 and we paid $11.50 for the Greek Salad with Iceberg Lettuce. I have been in the food business for 45 years including being a Food & Beverage Manager at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress a 5star 4 diamond Resort in the early 90’s. I sincerely feel this was horrible customer service and totally unacceptable to only replace just a salad that is $3 less than what I paid for not to mention my wife couldn’t eat any of her meal that which I let the Restaurant know. She was so upset that she deleted her great review she gave them on our previous...

Decor is attractive but its a terribly cramped space with unattractive menus, but that's not at all why it earns 1 star.

The servers were kind enough, but the food was awful. The garlic knots we soaking in a thick pool of oil and each individual knot was covered in the equivalent of 2 cloves of minced garlic. The cheese sticks are the cheap frozen ones you can buy at the dollar store. The Alfredo tastes only of steamed milk. The salad dressing is flavorless with the exception of a mild sour flavor. I personally ordered the Veal Victor. The veal was very tough and tasted old and freezer-burnt. The prosciutto was thick and dry and tasted low-quality, its hard to describe but it was the worst prosciutto I can recall eating. The shrimp were even tougher than the veal and were definitely not fresh, and on top of that still had the tails left on them, so I had to go finger-fooding into my pasta. I also tried some red pasta with sausage and peppers, which was the most flavorful dish at the table, tasting only of fennel seeds and acidic red sauce.

I imagine that the majority of locals being seniors is the reason this bland-tasting food has such good reviews. It was a serious let-down. The staff were friendly and the portions were generous but I would absolutely NOT recommend Campanellas.

I forgot to mention that all six of us at the table discussed sending all of our dishes back, but we didn't want to be rude. Ps- our server was Ashley, and none of our issues were her fault....
