Fray's Donut House — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

UPDATED Ever since the new owners took over, things have gone downhill. The prices were raised immediately but the quality of the food went down. $10 for a donut and a bagel sandwich with a fee to use a CC is a little high. Not to mention a dozen donuts that are smaller than before costing $19! There is always a long wait to get your food, even at 5 am, and told that the person working is alone instead of taking the order. The previous owners had a system for the drive thru to be efficient and the new owners stopped doing it. We come here 5 days out of the week and get the same thing. You would think that when they see us in the drive thru, they might know what to start cooking, but no. We will still come here since we refuse to get fast food breakfast, but please please please try to fix some issues! Maybe schedule a second person in the morning to help make sandwiches, use the old system for a busy drive thru, and try to get to know your customers that you see every morning because those are the people you can't afford to lose!

The donuts are always yummy and fresh. They only last a day then they become hard. I had never been inside this location until this last week. I was highly disappointed with this establishment. Not only was it ridiculously unorganized but also filthy. The floor was dirty, all tables were dirty. No one bothered to take the time to wipe them down for next customers. The bathrooms were the absolute worst. The owner should be ashamed. The least they can do is maintain them. The door wouldn’t close completely without a struggle. The knob was dangerously hard to close as it seems it was broken and felt sharp at touch. The actual lock on the door was also cracked/broken off and sharp. Making it hard to twist and lock. I’m glad I went to the restroom with my child or else they probably would have an abrasion on hand from it. There was no soap at all in the soap dispenser. And last of all the toilet looked as if it had never been cleaned. It had a disgusting black rim around the entire inside and splatter of pee and poo on lid. Please keep up with your building. The donuts are good but we will probably never return after witnessing the grouse restrooms and the lack of professionalism received from this business. Great locally owned shop with a retro vibe. Awesome place for donuts, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches in Central Pinellas Park. Much better than Dunkin and even Krispy Kreme. All the employees are awesome and give excellent service. Freshest donuts in town and their apple and banana fritters are to die for! It s best to go early in the morning when the donuts are made but they are kept fresh throughout the day.they also offer a drive through that is quick and easy if you are in a rush, faster than other breakfast places with better quality food and service. The breakfast sandwich croissant is good and decently priced, along with their bagels. Their coffee is always fresh, and the iced mocha is superb. The store is always clean and sanitary, especially now with the pandemic. After coming only a few times, the ladies already knew me and my order like I've been going there for years, and it really makes the whole experience that much better.
