I been going to this place for last 5 years. my routine every month sometime twice a month. Food was great, the people who ran the place were great, awesome experience every single time. UNTIL afew days ago i stopped by for my monthly deuce of cheese stake and i see place is painted and new people all over. first I thought I stopped at wrong place I doubled check no it was a right place. so I ordered my cheese stake and while the guy taking my money asks me "WHERE ARE YOU FROM?" I replied "LA" he again PERSISTED "NO I HEAR YOUR ACCENT WHERE ARE YOU FROM?" again i replied "I heard you, I am from LA?" HE SAID "NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME." i replied I UNDERSTOOD YOU and you got your answer". I thought about canceling my order but I thought ah No I am gonna give these people a try. I got my food i got home 1st couple bits I was like this is different, by 3rd bit the cheese stake was full of JALAPENO. I MEAN it was MOUTH FULL OF FIRE. IT WAS SO HOT THAT DOWN MY TROUT WAS BURNING. I throw the remaining of the sandwich out and scratch the place out of my routine. what ever their problem was with my accent it differently showed in their food and service. so think twice before...

Omg!!! Since moving down from New England, I’ve been looking for a sub shop that will have my favorite sandwiches and I am so thankful to the person who directed me here. The steak and cheese is definitely one of the best sandwiches here and it will not disappoint. The sandwich is filled with steak that is moist, and perfectly balanced with the excellent bread that they use and the cheese. I took an Italian sandwich home to eat for dinner and I am telling you this is just one of the best places to go. The Italian sandwich was filled with fresh cold cuts and folded into a wonderful bread. You definitely have to come here if you don’t wanna travel up to Dunedin. I may not like philly teams, but i love their sandwiches 😀 Edit: 3 days later and to get another cheese steak. It was that good! The ribeye looked like waygu and sliced in the back. Fresh...

Would rate negative infinity stars if i could based on what is going on with this place. New owners. It will never be the same. they fired Joann and all the original staff. Joann was the original owner for 48 years and her family all worked there full time and the new owner took all these jobs away from the people who knew the place best. Objectively unethical. This will affect not only these people who were devoted to this place for years and decades but us the customers like myself who have been eating here regularly for 20+ years. Food quality will drop. It has been confirmed they will no longer use original recipes or ingredients. Please just stay away so we as a community can put this place out...

I went on the 2nd reopening day after new management. The staff was friendly and helpful despite there being a rush. The inside was bright and clean! After trying many phillys in the area and being disappointed, I was happy to find one that was full of flavor and options for toppings! I got grilled onions with sweet peppers. The bun was so fresh and had the perfect softness and crunch. They said the buns are baked fresh daily from a local bakery and you can taste the difference in quality! I’ll definitely be going back regularly and look forward to trying some of their other sandwich options. Great little hole in the wall nestled right in Pinellas Park.

Being from Philly and hearing that Philadelphia magazine rated them the best cheese steak outside of Philly, obviously I was excited to try them. Philly, American, with onions and hots, the OG. It was a good sandwich, I think calling it the best outside of Philadelphia is a stretch though. The sandwich was on the smaller side, a little anemic, and maybe a little too much cheese. They went light on the hots so there wasn't much flavor added. The roll I don't think was Amoroso's, it was small and lacked that semolina texture on the outside. The onion rings and fries were excellent. Again, a good sandwich, but not driving for 35 minutes to get one good.
