Me and my boyfriend came to the drive this Monday 08/04 around 12-2 timeframe. We are vegetarian and hate eating out due to mix-ups and find it hard ordering here without getting meat as a main entree. I always get noodles as my āmainā entree even though itās a side and ask for rice and crab Rangoon. (Not that hard). Well I guess the employee (AT THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW) hates her job or her own poor decision as to why she ended up at this job (dirty blonde haired, blue eyes and crazy long eyelashes) because she had major attitude. My boyfriend even heard it and said not to say anything since they are making our food. Greattttt. So I told her to just forget the plates and letās do sides. You could tell she was Immediately irritated because I did not know EXACTLY what I wanted right then and there. I havenāt eaten here in months so some help would be nice- god forbid you actually have to do your job! I then Asked to order impossible chicken she had a nasty attitude because I was not aware it discontinued (again havenāt been here in a few months). She said after the fact when I pulled up to the window and had already paid āoh you should have ordered our eggplant tofuā would have been nice if I was mentioned that at the radio before I ordered. I went back inside to find out she was lying because they discontinued it and never planned to bring it back. Unpleasant experience because of that one worker. You shouldnāt have to worry if your going to have a unpleasant experience or happen to land on a employee who hates their jobs and might catch an attitude for anything and spit in your food. Sad part is I was sick for 10 days and just wanted some Chines food. Will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDonāt order online. They wonāt start your order at all until youāre physically standing there, and only after youāve nagged them every two minutes to start your order. This is despite not even walking in for a good 10 minutes past the ready-by time. Even when theyāve started your order, theyāll do one thing in your order then go right back to serving a dine-in customer. Meanwhile, thereās always at least one employee standing around, doing nothing but pretending to work by looking intently at something, anything, except you and your online order. This behavior is not just one employee. Itās every single one of them, and itās obvious that itās behavior encouraged and trained by Mark the manager who likes to stand around and smile and joke with his employees, never making eye contact with customers, while thereās a line of online order customers being ignored and lied to. Apparently, that manager makes good money to goof around with his employees. What happened with this place? Why treat customers this poorly on purpose? Is online money not as good as in-person money? You offer the online service, so do your job and make the food that I payed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate 4/1/25: Demoting to one star. This place gets worse every time we go there. Slow, surly, disorganized service. We stopped going at opening time (10:00). But even at 11:00 the food is not all out. Last two times there was a pan for Black Pepper Chicken (my favorite) with nothing in it. Happened again today. We walked out and took our business elsewhere.
The good: Facility was immaculate. Food was tasty, but had other issues.
The bad: Service was a bit surly. Pro tip: Greeting guests with "What do you want?" is rude. Although they open at 10:30 and we were there shortly before 11:00, they were obviously not ready. Pro tip: 10:30 comes at the same time every day, so it shouldn't be a surprise. Anyway, only about half of the dishes were out and there were no egg rolls at all. Of the three dishes we ordered, two were cold.
I guess we should have stuck with our neighborhood Chinese joint....
