A few weeks ago I held off on leaving this review when I had taken a sip of my drink and felt “THANK GOD” a metallic object in my mouth reached in to take it out and it was a CHARM !!! Yep a charm as in someone’s jewelry from either a ring maybe or who knows ! I went to the Manager and that was more sickening than the charm in my drink ! She said no way oh I’d be happy to make you a new one ! Didn’t seem as though she was curious in the least of whose it might be and addressing the dangers of this ! Well after thinking over the situation I as a business owner of a cafe myself realize it is tufff ! It’s a different day and it’s tuff to babysit these employees today just do not give a shit especially when you’re dealing with the younger generation and almost 100% of your employees are just that ! What I’ve dealt with myself as an employer has been just horrible !!!
Tonight My husband and I decided to go back as we had been many times before and I guess it can happen attitude even though aside of that incident it’s always unbelievably comical and definitely shows me I’m not alone in this battle. However I am small business I can’t afford this for to long where big corp / Franchise while different world ! What they can afford and tolerate is remarkable to us ! As I was saying Tonight we went back and wow what a show your people put on ! Franchise owner / Corporate you should pay attention here ! It definitely needs attention! All while sitting and eating we witnessed again not new it’s every time but tonight was a wow moment ! Like a who the heck is running this show moment ! We witnessed at least four employees go to the bathroom with there cell phones repeatedly and for lengthy amounts of time ! One lying for the other saying to the manager calling out where is sheee that she was not in the bathroom ! We had to ask for our table to be cleaned !! The finale was one of the managers wearing the blue uniform was heard yelling out loudly after a slowly escalating discussion between her and a worker ! She then yelled out how old are you 28 act like it !!!!! Yea know what KUDOS To her !!!! She was being disrespected and these employees were all over the place ! Half ass and I can tell you how many people standing there one after another with missing items and we were one of them and it happened last time too and I only got 6 nuggets second time for that too !! OMG the waste there is insane ! I actually can’t even bring myself to throw it all away sauces by the handfuls so I leave it on the table ! The girl that finally came over I thought to see what I needed was gonna was right by me to go to the bathroom and use her phone ! Meanwhile the finale incident sent the poor manager in blue uniform to the bathroom in tears and to breath I imagine but I gotta hand it to her for speaking up I mean enough already ! Oh and the F bombs that were flying around ! I could tell you a few stories of many other times being there ! I guess tonight is the cherry on the cake ! I think we are going to drive the extra Mile to see if it’s any better at all at a different location. I know it’s so tuff today no body really seems to care they just need the pay check the disrespect and lack of ambition is incredible! I pray for us all ! It’s a different day ! Just letting you know OWNER your issues are real here ! From buisness owner to buisness owner ! I don’t know why I never went to reviews here but before I wrote I read a couple and could not believe how many times people have let yea know ! Update (9/30/23): I usually have only great things to say about Chick-fil-A, but today they sent me to the dark side. I ordered through drive-thru and ordered a brownie with our items. Well, trusting the order is right (because it usually is), I pulled out. But when I got to the traffic light to give my toddler his fries, I noticed that I had a chocolate chip cookie and no brownie as ordered. I looked on the bag to see if I accidentally agreed to a cookie when placing the order, but no... it clearly said brownie. We were just grabbing a snack until I got home to cook. Ok...I get back around to drive-thru and got out of my truck and walked up with my bag that had my order on it. The manager clearly heard me explaining my issue to the young lady because she was looking directly at me with a cell phone up to her ear standing maybe 5 feet away. The girl at the window/door at pickup told me that they gave me a cookie because they didn't have any brownies??? 😒 No ma'am. If we wanted a cookie, we would've ordered a cookie. That should've been explained to me when I put in my order and before you took my money. I advised her that we do not want a cookie, so they can refund me. She again said the girl that took the order didn't know. Ok, so again, I don't want a cookie... give me back my nearly $3 for something I don't want! The manager turned her back... LITERALLY turned her back to me!! So, the young lady said the manager is on the phone and I could clearly see that this young lady at pickup was being put in an awkward position. So I stood there and waited for at least 5 minutes while people were pulling up to get their food. I had my child in the truck, so no... I'm not leaving him in the truck while I walked all the way inside. The manager apparently sees that I'm not leaving and comes out to say that she was on the phone with her District Manager and asked me if I wanted her to refund my card or give me cash. I told her that I didn't care what she wanted to do and handed her my card. She had the nerve to be mad about it! I'm trying to understand why that wasn't just done from the get go!! Read moreFall 2020: Disappointed in this location. Perhaps our expectations are elevated because of the quality of other locations, but our latest experience left both of us commenting. Plenty of workers behind the counter but not much being done efficiently.
Overall it appeared to need a good cleaning.
As my wife went to discard our trash she discovered both openings on the counter overflowing. As an employee approached she pointed this out (tray still in hand) to him. His response? He nods to another receptacle nearer the serving counter and said, "You can use that one over there." Another customer (tray in hand) looked as if to say "Did that just happen." Employee proceeded to go wherever he was headed with no further offer to help. Trash was still full when we left including the one he pointed out.
April 2023 EDIT: We stopped going to this location after posting this original review. Headed to a ball game on the weekend, we decided to place a mobile order and pick it up on the way. After remodeling, this is currently drive thru only. We entered the drive thru lane and after about 5 minutes we moved close enough for an employee to approach and register our name & order. After about 7 minutes more, no vehicles had moved. I called over the employee (who had stopped approaching cars since there was no movement) to ask if there was a significant problem. I explained that if it was going to continue at this pace we'd be glad to get out of line & cancel our order, since our car was still in a spot where this was possible. If we moved any farther, we would be trapped in line. She replied, "Things are starting to move forward" and we advanced a car length, where we were blocked in. No more movement for another 8 minutes. By the time we reached the window, we had been in line for 30 minutes. I interacted with 4 employees throughout the experience - not one of them acted as if they had received training or knew what was happening. No explanation or apology.
