Honestly sad. I have probably literally been to about 300 Starbucks in my life. How hard is it to just say hello welcome in when a customer walks into your store. After all no customers no hours no hours no job. Well I walked into the store and was about 3 feet from the young lady making drinks. ZERO acknowledgment. After about 30-45 seconds another lady walks out says hello what can I get you today. She seemed friendly and attentive so this is why I gave 3 stars.
I have been to this location several times and the service is always average at best. I travel for work so visit Starbucks across the state often. The one in Brandon on Causeway is always on point. Also the one in Bonita Springs near my store is on point also. Both managers are easily identified. Both with Starbucks a long time. One said I think 12 years one 8 years. The others in Brandon are also solid. Even the one closest to me in Riverview. Overall the service in Florida is solid. Much better than Chicago where my wife and I have lived the last 8 years. To put it in perspective we go to Starbucks at minimum 60-75 times a month. Simple Math on the low 700 times a year between us. We LOVE you. I also own a few shares. Oh and Im from the Northwest. So drinking the kool aid in a way.
But back to the store in Pinellas Park its just simply nasty. Dirty, unclean. You have attached pictures of the bathroom I needed to get a code to use. Thank God I was born a male and can stand. Do Better. It was not just the bathroom. Behind the counter bad, trash all over the floor. Just unkept. No way the district manager visits often because the toilet has stains at least a month old. Read moreI understand more than anyone how fast food customers can be. I do my best to never give attitude to fast food workers because of simple mistakes but when they are rude because of their mishaps and continue to be rude, I can’t hold my tongue. The lady whom took my order messed up on my order. No big deal until she gave me an attitude when I mentioned to her the drink was wrong. As I’m watching her take other drive thru orders she’s reading stuff on her phone and keeps telling the customer on the speaker she didn’t hear them or to repeat the order. Then we notice they only have one of two cake pops that were ordered. Instead of fixing it she told me she knows she gave me two and I told her there is only one. Then she looks at the receipt and says I only charged you for one. Told her I would pay for the other. I just want the two I requested.
I get customer service can be hard but you make it harder when you don’t do the job you were hired to do. Most customers don’t want to cause issues. They just want to be greeted nicely, get their order taken care of and be on their merry way. Most customers are completely understanding as long as the employee(s) are doing their best.

I was inside to pick up my order and saw this drink being made and saw whole milk was put into the cup, I thought at that point that is someone else's drink...has to be because it says almond milk on my order ticket. It was finished up and placed in the pick up area I waited for awhile longer before deciding to check it and indeed it was mine. So I kindly mentioned, hey I have an allergy to dairy milk makes me ill and I saw this drink being made and saw the whole milk added...I ordered almond milk i'll take this since you made it already don't want it to be wasted (give to coworker) and I'll pay for another drink. The employee proceeds to immediately deny my claims and talk to me like I'm crazy. I decided to not waste my time anymore since he clearly didn't care and before I went to walk away, he decided to turn to his female coworker and laugh about it. That is the part that made me angry. I'm not happy about this and I will not be coming back to this specific Starbucks. I have never had issues with any Starbucks besides this one, this is just first time I'm reviewing about it.
