Smoothie King — Restaurant in Pinellas Park

Compared to all the other smoothie Kings I've been to, this is hands down the worst! If you order anything extra it almost never gets put in there even though you paid for it on the app. The ice is never Blended and in big chunks. The ingredients are never Blended all the way and are in big pockets in the smoothie. Ive choked on the huge chunks of almonds that were always unblended, so I had to stop ordering this ingredient ! During free up size Fridays in particular it seems like they're using the protein powder and ingredients for a 20 oz smoothie and then they add enough ice to make 32 oz . Staff never has any answers to any questions you may ask either about the Smoothie or about the amount charged, or anything on the Healthy Rewards app points questions or anything. Or they are super rude with their answer if by chance they knew any answer. When you complain about something all they do is say they're sorry, if you're even lucky enough to get that , but don't want to make it up or fix it or anything. My order was wrong again today. It's Friday so the Smoothie was very icy and very weak tasting and I did not get the vanilla frozen yogurt I paid for once again. Also, the ice is not all Blended and has huge chunks in it, which makes me have to chew it more than drink it. Also it doesn't taste like they put the almond butter I substituted for the bananas either but this is no surprise as they never get my smoothie correct anymore. Any other location all these things don't happen and the Smoothie is delicious but at this particular location these things happen all the time with every visit and I continually pay for items I don't get and when I ask about it or bring it back I met with extreme rudeness! I'm not sure how or why this store has gone to ruin like this, but it used to be excellent! It's now the most sub-par Smoothie King I've ever been to around the country! Sad and they should be ashamed...

Go here!! I visit this Smoothie King location several times a week as it's close to my home. I love love love their smoothies and their customer service is, hands down, the best from young adults that I have ever seen! A few months ago they told me about their app and handed me a coupon that explained the details on how to use it and how to get discounts. The app, it's great but....ok so I was having some issues redeeming some rewards and I decided to walk in and ask one of the staff members if they could help me. She bounced around making orders, helping me, helping her fellow employees, she was awesome. We did not figure out the witchery with the app, lol, but she helped me the absolute best she could. She honored my points and discount and told me she would bring up the app issue with the uppers and try to figure it out. I love Smoothie King, but this is hands down the worst location! If you can, go to another location, I try to go to Largo but sometimes the convenience of a drive thru brings me here and it’s always the worst. They don’t blend the smoothies! Plain and simple, they need to be trained. Every smoothie I get has chunks in it, not small chunks, large hunks left in the bottom when I’m done. Tonight I got a smoothie with almonds, big mistake, sharp shards of almonds hitting my throat and I almost chocked. No other location has this problem, only this one. Earlier this week I got a smoothie from this location that I get often and I know how it should taste, it was terrible. Tasted nothing like it should and I had to throw it out. After that and almost killing me with almond shards tonight, I think I’m done with this location convenient or not.
