Breezeway Cafe — Restaurant in Pismo Beach

This lovely weekend, I took my daughter to grab a bite. The entire experience was beyond perfection! The dishes do not only look spectacular, they are extraordinarily delicious. Despite it being a little busy, the line went quick, and the staff exceeded expectations. We got a total of 3 bubble waffles this trip, and each was as good if not better than the last!

If you are a fan of waffles but not ice cream, I recommend getting it still. Same if you only like ice cream. But together, they are an unstoppable pair.

Personal ratings: Shark Bait - 9.9/10, I forgot I do not like gummies, and it came with 2! They're super cute, though, worth it! PB Love - 10/10, very sweet and lots of peanut butter! Birthday cake - 9/10, Sprinkles are cute but not a fan (I believe they will remove them if you ask) . The cherries were not my favorite, however, cherries are not really my thing.

I recommend this place to anyone living there or even just passing by! You do not want to miss out on arguably one of the best...

This could have been a bad review... My wife and I ordered breakfast burritos at a busy time and sat down to wait. The wait was greater than 30 minutes, but we were patient. The fantastic person making waffles however, wasn't happy about our wait time. Here is where the review gets good... We were offered some free waffle pieces while we waited (waffles that didn't make the final cut), and were looked after directly, the entire staff doubled their efforts to get our food to us, and make and keep us comfortable while we waited. A second half waffle was given to us. (We quickly regretted not getting waffles... Delicious!) We were cared for, treated with respect and dignity, and offered extra service above and beyond what you may expect at a restaurant in a high volume tourist area. (The breakfast burrito was very good as well.) We will come back to Breezeway again whenever we visit Pismo...

I can't believe in all my years, we had never gone here. This place is a GEM! We wanted brunch but wanted to stay in Pismo(we usually drive up to Morro Bay). I found they had waffles, and my kids LOVE waffles. My daughter ordered the nutella and my son ordered the fruit(strawberries, blueberries) with whip cream. They absolutely devoured it. They cant wait to go back again. I ordered the bagel breakfast sanwich & peach tea. The tea was soo good. But my bagel was slightly overcooked on one side and it made it chewy. But the ingredients inside were really good. Oh the bagel is an everything bagel, btw. Hubs ordered the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed the salsa that came with it. I want to go back as they have dessert as well. I wish they stayed open a little longer, but we will make it a point to try to get...
