Harry's Night Club & Beach Bar — Restaurant in Pismo Beach

Harry's has great live music for dancing and just enjoying. The bartenders and waitresses are very nice. The bouncers always have my back which is comforting. They don't miss much. (there can be some interesting characters at times) It's such a popular place that many nights there is little room to maneuver on the dance floor. The bathrooms are well stocked, but are not always attended. There is usually a waiting line as well in the women's restroom. Harry's has quite a few tables and chairs besides the bar, and there are pool tables in a side room. There is normally a door charge, but it's reasonable. Limited Parking, one way streets, and pedestrian flow make parking interesting, however, there is a beach lot one block down. On Wednesday nights, it's not too crowded to be able to enjoy some West Coast Swing, and other dances that require a little more space. A very nice surprise is that Harry's offers free popcorn! It's tasty too Kara is amazing behind the bar... Ask for her famous Tsunami... But...

Good atmosphere! Really loved all the people around and the vibe of the place. I have been to lots of bars and had lots of drinks before. I ordered a Paloma(which I have had before) and it was the worst drink I’ve ever had in my life. I tried my best to drink this awful cocktail I was served. But I couldn’t get over the taste and asked my friends if it was just me or if it was really that bad. They were all horrified and said it was awful. One of my friends let the bartender know and they made me a new drink at my request(got a margarita instead). They said they would still charge me for the absolutely awful cocktail and my new drink as well. Which I guess was fine but I don’t think I have any interest in coming back to this establishment based on that drink. I decided to close out my tab after that debacle. I didn’t want to waste more money on a horrible experience or...

Once again an enjoyable night with good entertainment. Staff patrols the bar regularly looking for troubles spills, dropped or broken debris and other issues to keep it a safe environment. They also check on people who fall to make sure why they fell perhaps from being too drunk or if there was a hazard that they needed to deal with slipping or whatever. The guy that seemed like the floor manager was very much on it and now that they have formatted their flow so you come in the front door and have to exit the side door that has helped to keep things flowing well. It has been a few months since I was last there and they have improved upon the last time I was there which was also a good experience. I have to give kudos to Harry's for being on the ball and proactive in their work. The prices seem very reasonable and the servers were quick and taking care of...
