Honestly donât understand how this place has good reviews. If you like a ton of sugar in your coffee, go here. I saw the barista literally pouring more than a quarter of the medium cup with syrup. One tablespoon of that has at least 23g of sugar. Ordered a pistachio baklava drink and a berlut sandwich. The berlut sandwich severely lacked in flavor and it felt like it had been microwaved. The bread wasnât cooked all the way through and tasted stale. Also the sandwich was missing 2 key ingredients that the description stated. Not to mention that each item was 8 dollars.
This place has so much potential due to their beautiful seating and atmosphere but fails due to incompetent and untrained workers. Instead of hiring college students for cheap, this place seriously needs a real barista who is passionate about coffee and at least a mid-level cook who can bring life back...
Read moreLove this place, I worked here for three years, but just stopped as I am beginning grad school.
Divvy is a family-owned establishment, and they have treated me very well since I started working here. Theyâre all super friendly, and they do a great job of keeping the place clean and suitable for campus study culture.
In terms of the menu, Iâll throw some food/drink recommendations that I think are the most high quality/fairly priced.
Coffee: Canât go wrong with any flavored latte or matcha (hot or iced). My go-to is a cold brew with salted caramel cold foam. Food: The breakfast sandwiches are hangover cures, but in terms of lunch I always tell people that the capri chicken pesto is the best sandwich. Sweet buns are great sharables for dessert, too.
But yeah Iâll keep coming here throughout grad school. Glad I can finally...
Read moreThis restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Very aesthetic, a very cool place to be. If you are looking for a cool place for a coffee date. 100% recommend. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, but the sweet buns did not hit the mark for me. They are coated in a thick exterior and it was hard to eat both texturally and in taste. Also, I understand how counterintuitive it is to say that coffee & tea should be less hot but I do think you should not be actively burning yourself to have tea at an appropriate temperature. We ordered a tea and the lid was not completely put on and I ended up pouring hot tea all down the front of me and burning myself. I like this restaurant but I did hurt myself and I don't want other people to. So please be super super cautious...
