This place used to be VERY good. I’ve lived right behind here for years. However, since the pandemic it’s impossible to eat here. Have tried to support a small business and order from here now 6 TIMES, and even though they’re listed as open until 1:30pm on their menu, Google and Facebook - they are not. Today we called at 12:55pm and weren’t even answered with a “Hello”, just a “we’re closed”. How long does it take to make a “ham sandwich”. If you close at 12:30 instead of 1:30, then please adjust your hours. Another time my wife and I noticed no tables taken at noon, we walked in and again were told “sorry no tables” then watched them serve someone right as we left. Keep in mind every time we had to go to either Waffles or Nadines, or Shelleys on the hill; or even a chain restaurant rather than supporting a business we’ve liked for years. Their hours are even posted ON THEIR MENU. All 6 times we’ve tried to eat or order take out between noon and 1, and they advertise until 1:30. The main reason for my review is 1, not even saying hello just saying we’re closed and hanging up. What if we forgot something like a wallet? What if we had a general inquiry? What customer service is we’re closed- click? But mostly, in all but 2 of these instances, these were weekdays that I took my lunch break then wasting the only time I have to eat looking for a plan B. Simply asking that if 1:30 is not the closing time, advertise the right closing time so others don’t go through this stress. We WANT to give you money, but after 6 times of trying it’s hard. And please have a little respect...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of visiting O’Leary’s, and I cannot recommend this charming café enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming service that made me feel right at home. The staff truly go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels valued and cared for.

Now let’s talk about the food—simply outstanding! Each dish I tried was a delightful experience, bursting with flavor and made from high-quality ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a decadent dessert, O’Leary’s offers a diverse menu that caters to all tastes.

And let’s not forget the prices! It’s refreshing to find a café that serves such amazing food without breaking the bank. The value you get here is truly unmatched, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a special treat.

Overall, O’Leary’s is a hidden gem that deserves a visit. With its welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and fantastic prices, I can’t wait to return! Don’t miss out on this...

My husband & I spent this past weekend in Pittsburgh & discovered this little gem! The food was absolutely delicious and we loved the little window seat up front! We both ordered an omelet with cheese, loaded with tomato, sausage, bacon (big chunks & all hand cut!), hash browns (perfectly seasoned & crunchy!) and a variety of toast (soaked in butter!). Deborah (our waitress) was just the sweetest lady who took such good care of us! She greeted each & every person who walked through their door which was so refreshing! In fact, all of the people working there (sorry we didn't get their names) were also very friendly and made us feel so welcome! We liked it so much that we went back the next morning for breakfast! You can be sure that when we visit Pittsburgh from now on, we will DEFINITELY be going to O'Leary's for...

This is quite easily the best "greasy spoon" on the planet. I've been 3 times during my trips to the Burgh and it will always be a mandatory stop. The omelets are phenomenal. The ladies working there are busy as bees in a very small area and don't miss a beat and are always super friendly. This is NOT some stuffed shirt joint, this is a comfort food, hole in the wall slice of heaven. Small in size, but huge in atmosphere and food.

Discovered this place today. Family owned and they run it together as a family. I loved watching them work together, they didn't miss a beat. If you have to wait in line it's worth it! I had the western omelette with home fries and Texas toast. Next time I am going to try the French toast and fruit it looked amazing.
