When I first began ordering from here everything was great. Nice big salads that filled the box, excellent pizza. Lately, I dont know what has happened but the staff doesn't LISTEN to you when you order, they have been screwing up the orders. We ordered 3 different times the specialty burger with PROVALONE cheese each time and every time got plain American on it. The pizza we got looked and tasted like it was sitting for 3 hours and was an order that was never picked up! I wish I could upload the picture of the salad that I got last night. I order 3 salads at 10.50each. By the time you took the dressing and plastic ware out of the same box with the salad in (should be outside as to not contaminate salad) there was about a handful of lettuce, 4 cherry tomatoes, about 6 very small pieces of green pepper and about 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese and the little bit of meat or seafood. There were no slices of cucumber at all. In comparison to the salads that this place USED to make I honestly feel like I paid 10.50 for a half of a salad and still wondering if your employees are that bad or just cutting back so they can feed themselves for free??? The girl that answers the phone is extremely RUDE and cant speak English and she screams at you. Get better employees! I'm done ordering from R&Bs. I may try once again 3 months from now with hope that the owner straightens the place out but for now I suggest dont bother going there you will be highly dissatisfied. From all the other BAD reviews this place gets I'm not even sure how they stay...

When one visit Pizza they always like to try the local food that is popular and taste great. Well, if you were looking for the best pizza in the town of 3 Rivers don’t look any further than Papa Allen’s. If you happen to be staying at one of the local hotels, they deliver and all of their delivery people are professional, kind and fast. They replicate the local Pittsburgh kindness that one expects from the people of the burg. The quality of the food is beyond expectations from this little joint if you happen to visit the pizza shop personally it might not have the best outside look to it but when you go inside it’s definitely a Pittsburgh pizza joint. The crust on the food is always perfect and if you happen to order gluten-free that taste great as well. Thin crust or regular crust it’s all good and the toppings are to die for. Personally I think I get a pie every other week and there’s no deviation of high quality from one week to the next. I like the meat lovers with pepperoni, Italian sausage and meatball with an extra size container on the side for dipping. The sauce is incredible. If you are visiting Pittsburgh then don’t have it delivered but instead share the environment of this pizza joint with its employer does that make you feel as welcome as if you live down the street. Pearl is part owner of the location and she not only takes the orders and makes the pizza and sometimes even delivers the pizza, she does it all with a smile and a positive attitude that is so infectious you can’t help but...

R and Bs Pizza Place is one of the latest food establishments to sprout up on Smithfield Street.

I found the place to be clean and neat. The employees were very friendly and took our order quickly. The pizza did not take long to cook, and we were served within 10 minutes. The pizza was hot and cheesy. I got a one topping sausage pizza, and it was very tasty with just enough sausage and an excellent amount of cheese. The sauce was tangy without being overwhelming.

One thing I would tell them to do is to have a few more Lunchtime Specials. Especially with personal pan pizzas, or several slices of pizza along with some pop. There was a gyro special going on, which seemed very out of place at a pizza joint. Also, for the specials they do have, they need to post them more prominently inside the building. There is a sign outside, but nothing inside except menus. So unless you remember what it is you wanted from outside, you'll be forced to refer to it by going back outside.

The prices are reasonable for what they offer, and the employee who took my order very helpfully offered me a coupon which actually gave me more pizza while reducing the cost of my order. That was very much appreciated.

I would definitely eat lunch here again. While R and B's Pizza place isn't anything to write home about, they definitely do have a clean restaurant in good...

Found what appeared to be a little "hole in the wall" pizza joint, that was across the place I was staying at while in Pittsburgh, cousin seemed a little skeptical, as did I, but, we ended up there after our first night in town... Following a late night of drinking we struggled to find a business that would still serve us food, while returning to our room, we'd seen the sign flashing open at Pappa Allen's, and was drawn to it like a moth to street lights. It seems grimey on outside, mainly due to the age and architecture in a part of the city that's on the downs, but, the inside is absolutely clean, and cozy. While it's not big, both visits for me here, wasn't super packed so finding a seat was easy enough. Grab your own napkins, utensils, plates, and drinks and wait for your food. Prices were incredibly reasonable, service was fairly fast, and the staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. The true test, the Pizza itself, was absolutely incredible. So much, so, that we decided to eat here both of our nights in Pittsburgh and I've already spread the word to others planning to visit the area. An incredible little mom and pop shop pizzeria, that offers the best of slice, all hours of the night. I'll definitely return!

When we arrived to town I initially saw this place and thought no way I’m going there tonight. As the place looked run down and sketchy. However, We decided to stop in late Sunday night after a long day of drinking. We were pleasantly surprised it was still open. We sat down and it seemed like it took 3 min for the pizza to be out. The pizza was actually good. So good we decided to stop there the very next night to confirm it was good sober 😆😆. Looks can be deceiving. Def stop in and get you a pizza! Nice staff, good pizza and good prices! If I come back to Pittsburgh I’ll definitely be stopping again!

Coming back to our Airbnb from a concert we were really hoping this pizza place across from our Airbnb was open and it WAS! And it did not disappoint. You can get a big ol slice or an entire pizza! We opted for a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Served with a side of ranch. They also have Pepsi products from cans to 2L bottles. So if you’re ever on this side of Pittsburgh, I highly recommend giving this shop a chance Also, for 3 people, it was under 20$. We all got a slice of pizza and a drink!
