Sia’s Garden Grown needs to add two more words to their name…”with love”… because that’s the feeling you get when you talk with the lovely owners and taste the love they’ve put into creating an oasis for foodies with a depth of flavor that many people seem to think can’t be found in food that’s also truly, unabashedly good for you. The space is cheerful and lends itself to making new friends because of the communal seating. While there are plenty of grab and go goodies in the refrigerated case, owner Chef Anthony will gladly work with you on dietary requests. Co-owner (and beautiful spirit) Diana explained all the dishes to us and helped us make some ‘tough’ decisions, lol…there’s so much goodness that we ended up getting several dishes. Everything was seriously delicious but our favorites, true ‘parties in the mouth’, were the cucumber dill potato salad, the spicy ginger garlic tofu, the cauliflower muffuletta sandwich and, oh my, the chocolate pots de crème and the matcha dragonfruit panna cotta! We cannot wait to go back; the food and the friendliness both are amazing. Pittsburgh is fortunate to have a new kid on the block that makes so much yumminess that’s actually good for...

Our first visit was enchanting enough that we had to return the following week when we were in the city! The menu is limited to what two people can produce, and is directed in-part by what's available to the chef while other things are somewhat constant, such as the great-tasting dill pickle potato salad.

The chef makes his own pasta and dill pickles, cashew mayo and I'm sure, other things... we try not to ask TOO MANY questions of a busy person, but he and his wife are definitely open to listening to you and making sure you are happy with the food.

Portions are generous and there are options for who don't want the sandwich-type stuff that offers Beyond Meat filling (though trust me, these are NOT boring, to the contrary!)

I'm hoping for more GF options in the future, as well as some soy-free items, as I'm very sensitive to both; that being said, Chef Anthony was able to work around my issues and I have been happily and deliciously fed both times we've been there. And we will be going back, no doubt. The menu changes every few weeks (they update on IG, I think) and so we'll be there to see what we want to try...

Super excited to have a new cafe incredibly close to our house - even better that it's all vegetarian! We very much enjoyed our takeout dinner - the Curried Shepherds Pie was definitely the highlight. The sandwiches were also delicious, though could use a bit of refinement around the edges (example: the Eggplant Agro Dolce was tasty though unexpectedly spicy, and messy due in part to thin-ish slices of bread).

Also kudos for using all paper and bio-plastic based takeout containers.

We're looking forward to trying more of what Sia's has to offer! I'm confident they'll achieve 5 stars from me in short order.

Update apparently the bread on the agro dolce will be thicker this weekend. Guess we'll have to stop by...

Sia’s has quickly become my favorite place to eat in Pittsburgh! I’ve had the cauliflower mufuletta probably 10+ times and it’s an absolute masterpiece! Well-balanced flavors, super fresh, and the portions are perfect. The sandwiches are hefty, and that’s exactly how I like them. The dill potato salad is also straight delish! I’ve brought a lot of family here and they have really enjoyed it too 😊 the owners, Anthony and Diana are awesome folks. Very kind, mellow, and welcoming. And the restaurant has an airy, relaxed atmosphere that I’ve enjoyed dining in while getting some work done. Highly highly recommend making a visit. I haven’t found another place in Pittsburgh that has this kind of food and vibe! 😁😋🙏🏽

100% plant based / vegan and made with a lot if love. The owner was very friendly and answered all our questions. It was super filling, hearty, and the ingredients were fresh. We got a spicy tofu sandwich, butternut squash agrodolce sandwich, and mushroom barley soup. It needed a little more salt and pepper that they had sitting there for us to use and my fiancé also added hot sauce to his sandwich from their cool collection of hot sauces. We also ordered a matcha dragonfruit drink which wasnt that sweet but it was still good.
