Wendy's — Restaurant in Plainfield Township

This Wendys is a joke and the older women manager is just as bad. I was 45mins away from home. I stopped figured grab something to eat and just get home after driving for 3 hours. Placed my order everything was fine. Paid cool no big deal got the order, told her have a nice day pulled out of the drive through. Biggest mistake I made was not checking BEFORE I pulled away from the damn window. How is it possible to give the sauces for a 10 piece nugget but not the damn nuggets? Well it was after 10pm so lobby was closed the drive through line had wrapped around the building so I figured they have a pick up window for online orders I'll go there and just ask for my nuggets. I rang that stupid bell 3 times and stood at that window for about 15mins with another customer who had been 5mins before me being ignored as well. The whole time there was an employee inside mopping floors right in front of the damn pick up window while both myself and the other customer stood at the door being ignored.I finally got pist and walked up to the drive through window not caring about the line of cars and told the manager that I had already been through, I had paid for my meal and I had been standing at that damn pick up window for 20mins all for her to have the balls to tell me I'm sorry we are busy with the worse of attitude and gets bitchy cuz I was at her drive through window. And told me she couldn't give me my nuggets to go back to the pick up window on the otherside. I told her I just wanted my food and she was still pissy as hell. I've dealt with pretty crappy fastfood but by far this damn old lady and her incompetent crew are by far the worse. I get it your busy but if you are so damn busy why is your employee moping floors while customers are trying to pick up their orders? What's the damn point of the stupid online order window if you're just going to ignore those who come to it? This place needs a new manager and a new crew. Seriously get...

The food is fine. The service, however, is terrible. The cashier jammed the register. Meanwhile, another employee was chatting with a friend. Our line was long and the manager couldn't figure out how to fix the register. Instead of opening another one, he continued to fuss with it. Finally, he fixed it, just as we were about to leave. It was almost our turn to order when the cashier left the register to take coffee to someone in the dining room. Guess she was the only one who knew how to do that. At last, it was our turn to order. I asked for the latest salad and the girl looked at me like I had two heads so I ordered something else. After placing our order, all of the customers had to wait while they sorted out which customer received which food. Really? Then, several people tried to get soda out of the machine that apparently wasn't working and didn't have a sign on it. We told the employees and they told us not to use it. Ummm....what about the people who come in after us? How will they know? The condiment/napkin area needed stocking and organizing. Dining room tables needed to be cleaned. What happened to this place after the remodel? Pitiful. I would NOT recommend this Wendy's. Dave Thomas would...

I haven't had a Wendy's Burger in 30 years I'm not kidding. Don't get me wrong I've been to Wendy's. I've had the chicken sandwiches, pre-made salads, and salad bar when they still had it . this is the first that I've had a burger in that time .

I had Dave's double burger that was so delicious. I had french fries and those are better than McDonald's the ones that McDonald's Rave about that they changed 10 years ago and that are horrible tasting!!

I also had a frosty that I haven't had in 30 years and now they offer vanilla that's cool. I didn't try the vanilla since I had the Nostalgia for the chocolate! I had to have that flavor. McDonald's should go back to the old ones!!!

The times that I had been to Wendy's in the last 30 years have been times that I've used coupons since of prices were high even back

FYI to Wendy's the only reason I went was I had a friend who had coupons that brought the burger down to $5 getting the fries and drink. Other than that without a coupon the prices for Wendy's food is too high just like Arby's only go there with coupons. Knowing now what I know I will definitely go back to Wendy's of course...
