Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Plano

These people here are extremely rude and inconsiderate and take no responsibility. No communication at all. They don't acknowledge customers when they come in and they will sit a order on the counter and not tell you it's your order and expect you to know it's yours when these other customers . Terrible customer service! I do door dash and I've had several complaints from here about people not receiving condiments or other items. I go in there today to speak to somebody about it and I don't know who's the manager because I was told this short guy was a manager and then this other lady said she was a manager. But the point is my customers didn't receive their cream cheese and they had ordered about a dozen bagels so when I went in there to let them know that I've had complaints they start saying how customers also like to get free orders because doordash will reimburse them for missing items so basically blaming customers and calling them thieves. Then they try to ask me if maybe they fell out of the box because they said they were on the handles which there was nothing on the handles when I picked them up and also I place it in another bag also. Just a big argument because people's customer service is terrible and then they want to blame everybody else. Extremely terrible and they won't be getting none of my money. Need to treat people better than that and take...

I use to really enjoy this bagel place, but I think the time has come for me to take my money eslewhere. Don't get me wrong, I'll always purchase Einstein Bros. Bagels, THEIR GREAT... just not at this specific store. Today was the third negative experience I've had at the same place so I decided to write a review. The service could have been a lot better. I did not get to choose the specific Bagels I wanted ( they didn't even ask me). And the place did not even have a good variety (the racks were mostly empty). But, even with all of that, what really convinced to give a two star rating was the way my bagels were cut, or a better word would be destroyed. The second star is there because the place is still a cozy place to sit down and eat, I know for a fact that manybpeople enjoy it. But please find a way to cut bagels more efficiently. In the future, I'll visit again and consider to give this store a better rating. Just remember to give DELIGHTFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Store has so much potential based on location alone. sad the inside is a dump and it looks like no updates have been made since maybe 1990 or so. And not in a good way like those teal and pink taco bells or BKs. It just looks run down. Maintenance has not been good either.

All the floor tile grout and crevices are quite obviously filled with black gunk. No idea what color the grout used to be. Corners on the floor where the mop cant reach easily are filled with gunk and debris. Lots of gnats inside. Bathroom has a ghetto barrel bolt latch attached to the door. Paper dispenser borderline broken because the lever doesnt spring back. Lighting inside is bad and they even tinted the north facing windows for whatever reason, and theres not much lighting inside to make up for it. Dingy. Odd layout of booths and tables. Empty alcoves, bad menu signage. Whole store feels constantly like it's about to shut down any day.

Luckily this is plano so the people have money and bad taste so this location will soldier on for the forseeable future.
