TERRIBLE SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT. Here is a review of my first, and last visit at any Five Guys location. A friend told me great things of this place and the fact that they served peanuts with their burgers so I thought it’d be a cool place to try. I placed an order online and went in to pick it up. The place was empty, except for the employee yelling at the person trying to talk to me. She thought it was more important to keep screaming about her previous conversation than let the girl take my order. When she was done, I let them know I had an order for pickup. The lady at the fryers said it would be a two minute wait for the French fries. I told her to take her time. After a few minutes, they gave me my order and I went to my car. I tried a fry before I started driving and noticed it was raw but figured it was probably just one out of the bunch. Ten minutes later, I tried another and it was raw as well. I took a look into the bag and they were all raw, just drenched in seasoning so it wasn’t very noticeable. It’s a 20 minute drive to my home, so I didn’t want to return halfway through the drive. I called the shop and the same girl who had been screaming earlier answered the phone. I told my fries were raw and she didn’t say anything, and after a long pause just goes “okay?” After trying to explain the situation again and getting nowhere, I asked to speak to a manager. The craziest part of all of this, is after telling the manager that my fries were completely raw, he tried to gaslight me MULTIPLE TIMES into thinking the fries were soggy. He was speaking to me like a dumb child that needed to be told that “fries get soggy when they’re in the bag.” Like sir, my family owns a chain of restaurants and I have worked in the food industry my entire life. I know the difference between raw and soggy fries. He offered no resolution other than to “take care of me next time I came in” without even taking down my information properly. When I got home, I had to cook the fries in my air fryer for 9 minutes. NINE. It’s a shame because the burger was actually quite tasty. But I would so much rather give my money to places that deserve it than a franchise being run by terrible management. Below are photos and videos of the “soggy fries”😒 Believe it or not, cooked, soggy fries don’t resist when you try to squeeze them. Only...
Read moreI normally don’t post reviews, but feel like this is worthy of one. My family and I ate here last week. When we went to order and pay, the cashier said the total would be $54 and some cents. I remember that amount because I thought wow, that’s expensive for 3 adults and one kid. I didn’t check the receipt or think another thing of it, which was my mistake, I should have. A couple of days later I look at my bank statement and I have a charge for $81.70 from the restaurant. I went back and found the receipt, and sure enough that’s what it said. I was really shocked. The food total was $68.61 for three adults and 1 kid (which is insane for a pseudo fast food joint, but that’s not relevant to my point), but then there was tax and a $7.43 tip added on. A tip I did not authorize. So maybe I misheard the cashier (though I’m fairly certain I did not and he told me a much lower amount than I was actually charged for the food total), but he also added on his own tip to the total without my authorization. Literally stealing money. I should have caught it at the time but I didn’t look carefully enough at what I was being charged. My mistake. I have placed a dispute with my bank. I will not be going back to Five Guys again. If you choose to eat here, check your receipt carefully and make sure you know what they are charging you for and not stealing money from you without you knowing it. Not to mention they completely messed up our order and all of our burgers had the wrong...
Read moreThis place is terrible. I don't know if it's just THIS location, but man... I paid almost $11 for a burger I could have made at home for maybe $2. Seriously. It has american cheese and 2 patties, with a bun you could buy at Kroger. But the burger itself was good. The cashier was in the back of the store when I walked in. There was literally no one in the food station or at the cash register. I almost walked out after a few minutes, but finally a large dude walked out of the back and greeted me and I figured it was too late to leave at this point. So I put in my order, a bacon cheeseburger with "the works?". I paid with a ten dollar bill and a one dollar bill. The cashier rings up that I paid $15 then spends 2 minutes trying to figure out my change and shorts me 10 cents. I was like whatever at this point man I just want my food. So I get my food after about a 5-6 minute wait and I realize, wow I just paid $11 for just a hamburger (I assumed I would get fries for that price too)... I drive home I unwrap the hamburger, and it's just a plain hamburger with nothing on it except the cheese and bacon. Even though I literally had a conversation about what the works was with the cashier. Never coming to this location again. Perhaps the others are better but considering a lot of reviews are calling the food "cheap" even though the prices are insane for what you're paying for, I kinda figure people who love this place have no idea what they're...
