Bullet points cause everyone should read this!!!! We got the 90min all you can eat for only 15 mins of eating!!!! What a SCAM!!! WE ARIVE AT 7:40 WITH A RESERVATION!!! And we all payed FULL PRICE!!! FOR 15MINS OF EATING took 20 mins to be seated for a reservation or the even be greeted took 40mins for the food to get there when they said it would just be 10 mins -was never informed of the kitchen closing but even though it was 10 min till 9 which is when they closed -then the waiter had the audacity to tell us we came in late when we came in an hour and a half before they closed the kitchen staff glared when we told the waiter they forgot an order which they mess up it was basically mush! SOGGY FRIED RICE!!! ignored us and attended the table next to us the entire time so much so that we had to literally catch the waiter to try and get our next order!!!

So I have been here before and never has my experience been this bad. First we had a reservation and we even came early at 7:40 we waited at the front to even be greeted but no, we waited for at least 10 mins for someone to ask if we had a reservation, and another 10 mins to be seated. Then when we were seated it took at least 10 mins to get our order in. The waiter said there was a 10 min delay for food, okay fine but, we waited until 8:40 to get our food. Almost an hour past when we got there and we had gotten the all you can eat menu...at this point we were ready to get in more orders cause we were conscious of the fact that they close at 9:00 but we only talked with a waiter for a total of 2 times once to be seated and the other to take our first order...the third time we had to flag down our waiter cause they only serviced the table next to us and had never once turned to ask if we needed anything. We had asked if we could put in one more order, but they said that we couldn't cause the kitchen closed already at 8:50... we had no prior notice of the kitchen closing and we had only one order the first one we had when we were sat. I usually don't make reviews but this made me too upset to not talk about. If the waiter had a least looked over to the table next to the one they continuously served while completely ignoring us the entire tables waters were empty and just the next table over they were filling the glasses with out filling ours...not even a glance. The waiter had the AUDACITY to say we were late when we had come at 7:40... WHAT!!! WE CAME AT 7:40 AND WAITED FOR AN HOUR FOR OUR FOOD TO EVEN BE SERVED THE ATE FOR 15 MINS AND WHEN WE WENT TO ORDER MORE FOR 90MINS OF ALL YOU CAN EAT THEY TOLD US THE KITCHEN WAS CLOSED!!!! They even forgot one of the orders and the kitchen staff glared at us for trying to get the things we already ordered. Like what does that make sense cause it...

I came here with my family. It’s a bit tight but the seating is fine. You’re not coming here for the atmosphere but to stuff your face with good food.

Food: The food is good. It’s just very, very expensive if you aren’t eating as much as a football player. We couldn’t decide whether to order a la carte or go with one of the menu packages. We decided to go with the middle tier (aka Ultimate) menu of 55 items which is $62 per person!! That is insane!! I don’t plan on returning here unless someone else is paying the bill.

Yes the food was super delicious. I loved getting to try whatever I wanted off of the middle tier menu (which also includes items off of the first tier aka Premium menu- a total of 37 items).

Our favorite was the Harami skirt steak. The garlic shio cabbage and the Hanger steak were also really good. The zucchini grilled really nicely. I liked the shrimp as well but you have to watch carefully so you don’t burn them on the the grill.

The shisito peppers looked a bit smaller than the ones I’ve had at tapas restaurants. They didn’t taste as good either…not as thin and tender. Spinach wasn’t tasty grilled in the foil. The garlic fried rice tasted a little heavy to me.

Dessert: S’mores come with Premium and it was fun to grill the marshmallows. Supreme comes with mochi ice cream. They were out of taro, but they had coffee and chocolate, which were fine.

Service: Our waiter was a South Korean guy who was super friendly and great at giving us advice and changing our grill plate regularly.

The food is delicious but the price point is far too high. I can’t recommend it until the price comes down while they maintain...

My day was alright. But after going out to eat here with my mother, my day is a lot better. Not only was it the food that made it better, but the waiters also made it better. The place had a modern flair to the gyukaku salad~ different style of bowl, having more lettuce than shreds of radish, a nice amount of sesame mayonnaise seasoning. The assorted vegetable was meh. It had corn, zucchinis and mushrooms. They were all thin and tiny except for the corn. As we grilled it the zucchini became transparent. Never had crunchy see-through zucchini before but it was unique. The meat was good and I believe it is a good price when it is in happy hour! The reason why I rated this a five star restaurant is because of the waiter that served us. I am sad to not know his name or who to credit but the waiter treated us as if we were a friend and gave us good suggestions. Well we were ordering ice cream he suggested a matcha crĆŖpe cake with ice cream on the side because the ice cream was too small. It was funny how he described the ice cream. He just made a curved shape with his hand then placed it down onto the table and said ,ā€like this sizeā€. I copied him, then we both laughed. The dessert that he suggested was very good. I also love the freedom that the waiters give us on how we cook our meat and how we cook whatever dish we had. For example, my mother and I (whenever we go to gyukaku restaurants) we like to make yaki onigiri! So we just grabbed some rice, shaped it, then plopped onto the grill~ Anyways, it was fun to eat there! If I lived nearby then I would go to eat there often...

Okay, this place is decent, but I am going to beat it up a bit. It's pricey. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for food, ambiance, service, and overall experience, I just didn't feel the return on investment with this joint. The service is friendly, but painfully slow. I understand staffing shortages, and the need for breaks, but if I'm paying $150 for lunch with the wife, those aren't so forgiveable. Sorry, not sorry. We got the Chef Special at the recommendation of our server. The food was okay. Not outstanding but serviceable for the price. Decent quality meats, well marinated, cooked to perfection by my own hand. The Garlic Noodles though. They really shouldn't be cooked to the point of mush. Mush is an unbecoming state for any noodle, especially one that should have a delightful chew; shame on y'all for that. The salad was well dressed and fresh, the bibimbop was alright, if a bit scarce on protein, and completely lacking in any other garnish or ingredient. Rice, sauce, meat, but not very much meat. That's it. Not a green onion or anything. The Miso Soup was decent. The broccoli and cheese was a bright spot in the meal, simple, but so good. The lady M cake was the business though, absolutely nothing but happiness in your mouth there. Overall, it was an okay meal, but the overall experience was a bit of a let down. I think for the money there are better experiences with as good to better food. For less money, there are some great Korean BBQ spots that I would (and do) pick over this place regularly.
