This place is an absolute GEM. I discovered this place when I was trying to find some authentic Japanese food. It’s a huge grocery store with 4 little restaurants in it. I had a Pork Katsu meal and everything about it was amazing. It was nice, flaky, very fresh, very flavorful and the miso was good! The variety between these 4 restaurants is absolutely insane. The prices were fair for $16 dollars I got the pork itself, a bowl of rice, a salad and miso soup. From the restaurant across I had gyudon and yakitori (for around 13-14 dollars)The gyudon was very tender, the sauce was great. The yakitori sauce was amazing. They also had a little ramen restaurant but I didn’t get to try it. In this grocery store theres also a little bookstore with a TON of different manga, plushies and other cute Japanese souvenirs. The grocery store itself had anything Japanese you could want: Those cream and strawberry sandwiches, pork cutlet sandos, lots of different sushi and onigiri. As well as Japanese candies, chips and drinks! I was absolutely overwhelmed with how much this place had to offer. When I say this is the best Japanese/Asian market I’ve EVER been to, I truly mean it!!

This food court has fewer options than the one at H-Mart Plano, Jusgo Plano or 99 Ranch Frisco, but that's due to a focus on Japanese fast casual food. Can only speak for Matsui, but the taste and quality were more than my Western palate expected. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Lots of cool stuff. Super **ing pricey! For real, the gift shop sells a piggy bank for $28.99 that you can buy on Amazon for $12.99. I love Godzilla but won't buy any of the Godzilla stuff because a small 1 inch by 1 inch sticker is seven dollars. The action figures that are smaller than old school TMNT figures are priced at like 39.99 - save ya money in the gift shop and buy it on Amazon.

As for the actual store, they are pretty pricey as well but at least you get your money's worth. I still love going there, and that won't change, but avoid...

My family came by to eat dinner today. We have not eaten at the food court for quite a bit of time and it seems like two of the food stalls have changed but the quality of the food is just as good. There was plenty of seating for a group of 6. Lots of variety between the 3 main food stalls. There is also a sweets place that sells what looks like donuts, I think these are mochi donuts. After our meal we browsed the store with imported items from Japan then the actual...
