So, today I spent about 44 dollars with the tip. It included: 2 kids meals (corn dogs with Mac & cheese, and a cheeseburger with Mac and cheese) mushroom Swiss burger with mashed potatoes and cream gravy. slice of chocolate pie slice of chocolate cake

The Swiss burger was cooked well done, no blood, no pink. They did not ask how I wanted it cooked, so I assume that's not something they do there. The mushrooms were flavorful and the cheese went well with them. The mashed potatoes were pretty good. They kind of reminded me of Grandy's, back when I was a kid. Kind of nostalgic.

My kids seem to like their food too, especially their mac and cheese. It was extra creamy and kind of more liquidy, which I appreciate. We are not a fan of dry mac and cheese.

The only downside I would say is the rolls are pretty tough to eat. The tops of them were dry and crunchy, so the only good part was the inside that we had to rip out. And the chocolate cake was kind of odd tasting it reminded me of some sort of faint barbecue flavor mixed with chocolate. My kids seem to like it but they love anything sweet. I wasn't a fan.

Our waitress was really nice and attentive.. she came to the table about four times. I wish I could remember her name, but she is the younger brunette with the glasses.

The atmosphere is nice and reminds me of a diner. The walls and shelves are covered in Old memorabilia. My son was really excited to see the Kool-Aid Man picture on top of one of the mantles. He was smiling and asking the waitress about everything he pointed at. And she was nice enough to respond.

Overall this is a nice sit down diner anytime of the week. There were only a handful of people inside today at around 6pm (Monday) the menu is quite large and I appreciate all of the...

My wife and I love trying new restaurants. Especially really good diners. We both have loved diners and their food since we were kids. If you want really good food, good customer service, and an all around great experience, look no further than a good diner. Now let me be honest, as with everywhere else, there are bad diners. My wife and I were going to be in an area that we didn’t frequent much. So we searched the area to see if there any diners in the area. We found Norma’s. We were able to find the menu online and not only did it look good, it instantly made us hungrier than we already were. So we made the trek over to Norma’s. As with most diners, we were greeted by a smiling face asking if it was just the two of us and took us to our table. It was early so there wasn’t much of a crowd. Boy did that quickly change. Not long after sat down, the customers came in droves. While we were waiting on our server we were just taking in all the ambiance on the walls. Looking at the menu, everything looked just absolutely amazing. Though I love all facets of diner food, something caught my eye. It was called the Ol’ Number 7. It consisted of one biscuit, 3 scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns smothered in sausage gravy then topped with melted cheddar cheese, jalapeños, tomatoes and another biscuit. Oh, to top it off, it was served on a pie plate. All for $9.99. My wife just got the short stack with bacon as she was going to take a couple bites of mine. Believe me there was plenty of food. Bottom line: Great food, great customer service, and awesome prices. What more could you ask for? In my eyes, nothing. I can’t recommend this place more. And we can’t wait for...

As a small business owner I take customer service seriously and i hate giving any business a bad review but my experiences with this location have been very unpleasant. I went in Wednesday of this week to place a to go order. A couple was paying for their meal and I waited patiently behind them. As I walked up to the older lady who takes the orders, a guy walked through the door and she asked him his name and preceded to give him his to go order. No biggie, I thought it was a little weird to skip a customer who was waiting in line for a customer who had just came in the door but I made no fuss. I waited till she helped him and then placed my order with her. I also went to this same location Saturday afternoon to place a to go order. Again, this same older lady was taking a to go order over the phone. I waited patiently till she was finished. I approached the counter and told her I wanted to place a to go order. Ironically, a couple walks through the door and she tells me to hold on while she seats them. At this point, I was frustrated and just turned around and walked out. My second visit to this location and both times I get skipped over. I'm not sure if it's how they do things at this location but it sure looks bad from a customer service perspective. I questioned was it a race issue bc im a black male and both times I was told to wait while she assisted white customers. I could be wrong but it just didn't sit well with me. While I like the food, I have decided that I will no longer eat at any Norma's locations. If you're a minority and you decide to eat at Norma's, I hope you receive...

I'm not a fan of eggs, so I typically go the dinner route when I get my Chicken Fried Steak... It comes with 3 veggies, so I got double fries and Mac and Cheese. Mac and cheese was a bit soupy and had little flavor, but it was still fine to dip fries in and eat. The fries, while looking like typical frozen fries, are crunchy with a light batter and seasoned well with seasoned salt. The Chicken Fried Steak was portioned well and the breading is (my preferred) flour-based with the perfect amount of salt and pepper already seasoning it. I subbed my rolls for white toast to complete my perfect diner meal and just love when they paint on margarine (even though I'm a butter guy, diners just do toast right) so I can swipe up all the leftover bits on the plate. On the other side of the table we got ham, eggs, and a biscuit with gravy. Eggs were fluffy and the biscuits are drop style and quite large. Gravy and everything was seasoned well. Was hoping for a ham steak but the serving of ham was plenty. Portions are huge! Price is reasonable... Too full for pie after we finished... our server was PERFECT! Super attentive and even offered me a to go cup for my Diet Dr. Pepper. Will be back for sure!!! Thanks for an awesome breakfast Norma's!
