If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was forced to wait outside while all of my belongings--purse, keys, phone, wallet, coat--were outside and was physically assaulted by the bouncer. While I have previously had a nice experience at this establishment, my recent venture here was nothing short of abysmal and nightmarish. I would like to say that the two female bartenders working tonight were amazing and prepared my drinks quickly and as requested. However, when I went to escort my friend who was not feeling well outside to her boyfriend's car where he was picking her up, I was stamped on the wrist with a BLUE THUMBS UP STAMP and the man at the door assured me I would be allowed right back in after getting my friend where she needed to go. However, after my friend was safely in the car and on her way, I tried to walk back in the front doors to the venue, where a man minding the line outside the restaurant GRABBED MY ARM, which is leaving a visible bruise now, and told me I can't be here and need to get in line if I want in. He was not interested in seeing my stamp or listening to me explain that AT MINIMUM, I needed to collect my belongings from inside, as I was unable to leave or contact anyone without them. I proceeded to wait in line outside the restaurant for almost 40 MINUTES WITHOUT A PHONE OR WALLET OR KEYS to my car as all my belongings were with the rest of my party inside. Even having reserved a table and been buying food and drinks all night was not enough to guarantee me re-entry. I find it ridiculous that I was refused access to my own purse, keys, and credit card that I had left inside and that the bouncer had initiated physical contact when I was merely doing exactly what the man minding the door told me I could do, which was re-enter the bar after helping my friend to her car right outside. I will never be returning to this establishment after the ridiculous treatment I recieved and I discourage anyone else from visiting this venue, there are plenty of other bars and places to watch live music that won't have such strict rules and aggressive employees. Absolutely disgusting that a grown man would grab a young woman with such aggression and leave her outside without a phone or car keys or any way to communicate with her party inside or make arrangements to get a ride home. DISGUSTING. I hate to think what might have happened if I was stranded out on the street at a less busy hour without being able to get to my car or call my friends. I will be telling everyone I know within 25 miles of the shops at legacy to avoid this place at all costs, especially women. Completely unacceptable and disgraceful.
ALSO, I called ahead of time and spoke to a woman named Brinley about age restrictions at this particular bar. I was calling because a group of coworkers were planning on coming out to see the band and get some food and let her know we had party members under 21. Brinley told me that anyone under the age of 21 would be permitted before 9pm, but no one arriving after 9 pm under 21 would be allowed in. What she didn't clarify was that anyone under 21 would be asked to leave the premises at 9 pm, including any staff members under 21, something we were only informed of when the entire party showed up at 8:45. Ridiculous rules and even more ridiculous staff, avoid at all costs and go literally anywhere else in the...
Read moreAm not one to write reviews, but this was the worst experience I have ever encountered. I have visited this restaurant countless times in the past 5 years with no issues at all. Food was good, live band and DJ was great. Fast forward to 04/29/22, we decided to visit again, we haven’t been there in a while. We noticed right from the entrance a lot of the things have changed.
We sat for almost 20 minutes with no one coming to the table to attend to us. We waved down a waitress that was casually walking past our table and requested for the menu and something to drink. She took our orders and left. After about another 20 minutes a different waiter arrived with our food but no cutlery to eat the food, he left to go grab some and it took him at least 15 minutes to return. I ordered a shrimp linguine pasta, when I took a bite of the pasta, it was the most salty and tasteless food I have ever tasted in a restaurant. I spits it out, same with my friend’s meal. We called the waiter immediately and told him to take the food away it’s too salty for us to eat, he took them and came back to ask if we wanted a replacement, I told him I wanted the same meal but without so much salt. My friend requested for tacos instead. The waiter went back and returned with the food after 15 minutes, to be honest the pasta tasted just like the previous one I was given, very tasteless and still salty. I gave up and requested a to go box so I can take it home. When the bill came, they charged us for both meal that was returned. We requested they remove it from our bill they refused.
Two different managers were called to our table, the first manager apparently didn’t know what he was doing. We explained the situation to him, he smiled and said he will take care of it, but never returned. We were ready to leave by 11:15pm, but no body would bring the correct bill and check us out. We were indirectly held hostage because we could not leave until the bill was settled, but they refused to come to our table with the correct bill. We were very upset. We waited till past midnight until we had to flag down the waitress to get someone to attend to us so we could leave. She eventually went to get another manager who explained to us that the waiter that served us told the kitchen manager we had ate a quarter of the food before he took them away! This waiter practically lied against us for no reason and then vanished, he never returned to our table. Thank God we had a video of the food and showed it to the manager, he went back to talk to someone and came back to our table. He stated they have agreed to remove the fried chicken ribeye my friend ordered from our bill but will not remove my pasta. They refused to bring back the waiter to our table, and told us they explained to him to make sure he explained to customers about paying for food they rejected in case this same situation happens again. I ask the manager if I can have the food they want me to pay for back? He said it’s been thrown into the trash. Am not sure if they changed their chef, but my 15 year old daughter would prepare a better meal than whoever they have in that kitchen. This was a sign that we have outgrown this place....
Read moreBefore recounting my recent experience at this place, I looked at the customer reviews on all of the different platforms and it all makes sense.
I was there last Friday 7/1 mainly to see the show since it was my boyfriend’s band playing that night. We were greeted at the entrance and invited to sit at the bar. He ordered a drink and fried cauliflower to snack on. Once the show started, I was asked to move away from the bar to make room for the dance floor. No problem. I returned to the hostess to see if I can get a small table. She said they had open seating “anywhere that’s not marked reserved”. Sounds good…after 4 different attempts to find seating, each time being told to move with no offer to help from any of the staff, I found a seat in the back. After about a minute of taking a seat, this male waiter with a blond buzz cut came at me and demanded that I move. His approach was nothing short of combative - I actually thought he was going to try and fight me.
This was not a case of their staff needing to address an intoxicated person causing a problem - I don’t drink alcohol. I was also not loitering - I’ve got plenty of money to spend at places I enjoy. If anyone had offered to serve me, not only would they have received a very nice tip in appreciation for their effort, I would be leaving a positive review mentioning them by name. This is clearly a case of arrogant and confrontational staff who for reasons unknown, uses unnecessary aggression towards a person who just wanted to see the show and have a good night.
Between the addlepated and clueless hostesses to the male waiter that apparently likes to fight women, I had enough and I left. On my way out, the very same angry waiter decided to exclaim “Have a nice night!”, with a flippant and sarcastic attitude that was 100% intended that way.
After reading a good amount of the dissatisfied customer reviews, there’s no secret as to why this place has a 2.5 star rating on Yelp. It goes without saying that I will never set foot in this place again. If you’re a person who works hard for your money, I recommend going somewhere where your time and presence is respected and appreciated. If you’re going out on a first date, save yourself from embarrassment. If you DO decide to give Sambuca 360 a chance, if you are dissatisfied at any point, I strongly recommend to close out immediately and go to another one of the multitude of places in the area so your night isn’t completely ruined. Any attempts to address an issue with the staff or with management is futile - you will be treated as though YOU are the problem.
The lack of response from management/ownership to any of the reviews is a good indicator that these people do not care about their guest’s experience or the reputation of their business. This place is an armpit and not an accurate reflection of the community...
