I recently had the pleasure of dining at Samui Thai cuisine in Plano, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and friendly smiles from the staff.
The interior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. The seating was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing meal.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Samui Thai cuisine offered a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes, and I was impressed by the extensive selection. With so many options to choose from, it was hard to decide!
I ended up ordering the pad Thai and green curry, and both dishes exceeded my expectations. The pad Thai was perfectly executed, with a delicate balance of flavors and a generous serving of fresh ingredients. The green curry had just the right amount of spice, and the combination of vegetables and tender chicken made it a delectable treat.
Aside from the main dishes, the restaurant also offered a variety of appetizers and soups. I tried the spring rolls and tom yum soup, and they were both outstanding. The spring rolls were crispy and packed with flavorful vegetables, while the tom yum soup had a rich and tangy broth that left me craving more.
The service at Samui Thai cuisine was also top-notch. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions. They ensured that my dining experience was seamless and enjoyable, and I truly appreciated their efforts.
Overall, I highly recommend Samui Thai cuisine in Plano. The combination of delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service make for an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Thai cuisine or looking to try something new, this restaurant is definitely...
Read moreThis place was a delightful find. I was in the area looking to eat st another restaurant, but it wasn't opening until 5pm, so I decided to come here. The best decision ever. Upon entry as you walk up to the door, you're greeted by a beautiful door, and the entry way is even better. Very Zen. I felt like I was in another country. Absolutely beautiful!! Now let's talk about this food. The best Thai I've had all year, hands down. I ordered the Pad Thai, Medium Spice with Chicken, Spring Rolls, and Thai Milk Tea. The Thai Milk Tea was perfect, but too sweet. The Spring Roll was different from anything I've had before. It had the typical Spring Roll ingredients with the addition of Mango. It was wonderful. The dipping sauce was Mango flavored as well. The star of the show was the PAD THAI!! My lawd!!! The perfect combination of the 5 S's. Sweet, Savory, Salty, Sour, Spicy, with the herbaceous hit from the Basil, the slight bitterness from the Bean Sprouts, textured crunch from the peanuts, smooth creamy mouth feel from the noodles and wok kissed smokiness in the whole dish. This was the quintessential dish of the year. The servers know the menu and knows exactly what to suggest. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. This is what I call travel worthy dining. I would get on a plane and cone here to eat, but luckily for me, I live a few minutes away. I will he back,...
Read moreInteresting experience from an high-end restaurant.
That restaurant makes me think of spices and vegetarian dishes that are super tasty.
First not too many vegetarian dishes. Anything that is pre made is not a vegetarian, as we were told. They are either made in chicken broth or have egg or some kind of meat base. Even their vegetarian tempura is cooked in the same oil that they fry meats and all. One star lost
Asked for Singapore Noodles with extra egg and very spicy. Got the dish with barely egg, super mild. The condiments on the table that are usually spicy didn't add any spiciness to the fish. Bummer, what a disappointment. Another star lost.
Asked for a dish and they make a mistake in bringing something else, and then wants to charge half price. What? No way take it back...please.
Asked for dessert menu. For a table of 13, they bring in one menu. Asked for another one for other side of the table, but instead they transfer the menu from one side to other. That's strange indeed, given the restaurant is barely half full they could at least give another menu. Another star lost.
Other than failed expectations and service - food is ok. Most of the dishes in the tables were emptied out. The banana split dessert is good and yummy. One star earned.
The restaurant has a very good ambience. Another star earned. Interesting...
