Last night, we took our daughter, Kaitlyn, out to Seasons 52 for her birthday dinner!
I finished up my H Pylori treatment the night of her birthday, and was feeling pretty miserable. I was just grateful to get her presents and decorations done. I was so grateful when Kaitlyn's friend knocked on the door and asked to play. Kaitlyn was excited to play and push dinner back a night.
My doctor advised to eliminate all milk/whey/casein from my intake due to how inflammed my body was, so I shared this and my shellfish allergy with our waiter, Zach. I also shared how I felt embarrassed asking for the accommodations.
Zach shared not to feel embarrassed, and that everyone at Seasons52 prides themselves on the purpose they have within their restaurant. We noticed this as soon as we were greeted by the hostess. He shared they accommodate all food allergies and sensitivities. Their food is whole, organic, fresh, and clean. I was impressed that they had an entirely separate, full, front and back menu for differing allergies and sensitivities. He also shared they could modify the main menu to accommodate. He shared he has been doing this work for nearly 6 years, trains others as new locations open (including out-of-state), and plans to move up to a managerial role when available. Zach is kind, intelligent, and empathetic. He even shared his brother has lactose intolerance, but will suffer a bit to have dairy. I told him that I tried that with the use of digestive enzymes, and ended up with H Pylori, which looking back at my symptoms, I believe I had for at least 6 months and it just got to the point where it too bad to write off as just lactose intolerance. Tim asked Zach when he worked, because we plan to return for my birthday, and he told us his schedule. He shared he won't be here end of September because he is training at a new location in Florida. Zach most definitely deserves a promotion to management. He was wonderful in every way.
After eating, Jack shared it was the first time eating out that his stomach did not hurt. We all left feeling full and satisfied. They even had a dairy-free dessert that was dense and delicious, which I shared with Tim. Tim was so impressed he was talking about his food and our experience this morning, and he is not easy to impress when it comes to restaurants and food.
Hands down, this was the best overall dining experience and my most favorite restaurant to date.

Read moreIt was my wife birthday yesterday, we went to a movie and wanted to get something to eat afterwards , it was on a Tuesday night around 7:40pm, I called Season 52 in Plano and asked if a reservation was necessary, the gentleman answer and said no, and said he could seat us . We arrived within 10 minutes and was greeted by valet service person who opened the door for us and said “ thank you for coming “ . The gentleman at counter made us feel very welcomed and said did you just called ? I replied yes , and he seated us instantly. This place really makes you feel welcomed, we were dressed very casual . Our waiter Drew came over and introduced himself and ask if this was our first time here ? We replied yes , then he went over some of the items on the menu. For appetizers we asked about the flatbreads , he mentioned his favorite was the pesto chicken , we order it . It was a very good recommendation. It’s a thin crust flatbread super tasty. For our entrées my wife and I had the wood grill Filet mignon medium ,it came with broccolini ( long thin broccoli) Yukon mash potatoes on bottom of the steak and on top it had mushrooms and a red wine sauce. If you are looking for a VERY GOOD steak , this is it. Compare to other Steak Restaurants this is “ 10+“ It was the best steak I have ever eaten. Everything on this plate was delicious, meat had just the right amount of seared on the outside and super tender mouth watering juices on the inside . It was very well seasoned and every single bite was so tender, tasty and delicious. This will be my go to place for eating steak . Our waiter Drew made sure our drinks we’re always topped off without asking, he brought us dessert at no charge bc it was my wife birthday! He did everything to make this meal special for us .I mentioned to him I will be bringing my group here . I think this restaurant does everything right, along with having Best Filet Mignon Steak ! Can’t wait to try other items on the menu. I Highly recommended this restaurant, ask for Drew , he is a super waiter. Oh did I mention the prices are very reasonable. Plano’s...
Read moreI went here last night for my birthday with my husband, and overall it was a great experience! The service was excellent--attentive without being pushy, and very efficient.
I ordered the corn soup and the tomato flatbread, plus a glass of wine. My husband ordered watermelon tomato salad and the half chicken.
The soup was excellent, although it was richer than I was expecting (I should have gotten a cup instead of a bowl, but that's on me). It had a nice kick of cayenne in it but was well-balanced. The flatbread was excellent, although I took leftovers home because the portion was very generous. My husband's chicken was really nicely made, it was juicy, with crispy skin. The rice pilaf under it tasted...odd. Neither one of us could figure out what it was but it had an acrid taste, like an unusual vinegar or perhaps some burned bits had wandered in. So that was really the only negative part of the meal.
Because it was my birthday they gave us free dessert and they were excellent--little shot glasses full of mousse, cake, crumbs, etc. We had the cinnamon coffee cake one and the coconut one. I preferred the coconut one because it wasn't too sweet, but they were both amazing.
The ambiance was spacious but still cozy--nice lighting, and it's neat that you can see the line from the dining room. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and come back here. On top of all of that, the prices are really quite reasonable. You can fill up here easily for $25-$30 per person (again, very generous portions, nice range of prices on the extensive wine list, etc.). If you get cocktails or the higher-priced mains you'll spend more, of course, but their menu is still very reasonable for the quality of the food, and they offer some nice seasonal options (in our case I really appreciated the quality of the tomatoes, the watermelon, the cucumber, the corn, etc.)
The managing partner Shane came over and greeted us and wished me happy birthday, which I thought was very gracious and a nice touch in terms of...
