Used to love coming here for my smoothies. Until one night I came and ordered a blimey limey. I got to my car, tasted it and immediately turned around to take it back in. I’ve been getting this smoothie for YEARS, I know what it’s supposed to taste like. This one tastes like nothing, just ice. I go back in asking for them to remake it cause it doesn’t taste right. The man behind the counter who isn’t even in uniform, he’s in a freaking white wife beater tank is gonna look at me and say “ yah it taste off because we are out of sugar” so I go “why are you selling everyone smoothies if you don’t even have the full ingredients to make it properly” he then responded with “I can make it with white chocolate” and I’m like “well that wouldn’t be a blimey limey then.. I want a refund” He then refused to refund me my money saying that the there was nothing much wrong with my order. I left and went straight to Jamba Juice, I hadn’t been there in years but at least they’ve never let me down. This whole experience was disappointing and unprofessional and I won’t be going back to ANY tropical smoothie again. There are more smoothie places, don’t act like you’re the only one.
To the OWNER! No this isn’t a fake review. Your staff or maybe it was YOU was not in attire close to closing time when I went in. Don’t try and call me a liar. You’re so unprofessional and this is exactly why you have the reviews you do. And no you didn’t try to make the order correctly. You even admitted to having no sugar. I was hoping not to have to make this review. The franchisee/owner (Jesse) made it seem as if he was cooperative with resolving my disgusting situation but he was not.
They got my order wrong, messed around with it and touched it with their bare hands while touching everything else including their body parts. They served me the exact same meal that they had already made incorrectly and messed over while pretending to have made a new one. The reason i know it was the same order is because i watched where it was sitting the entire time and they blocked my view when packaging it and when they gave me the bag, it was the same sandwich that i had given them back as well as the sandwich that i had been watching was no longer sitting there. They refused to give me a refund. The owner gave me a free smoothie card and told me I could use it anywhere despite several locations telling me that I couldn't use it bc it was only for the locations on the card. I asked him about it specifically and he told me I could use them anywhere only to not be able to use them anywhere but his location that I refuse to go back to. He then got an attitude when I called him back to ask for my refund again bc I couldn't use the cards anywhere. I would not visit this location EVER again. On top of all of this, they were not very clean as it relates to the staff. Scratching everywhere, doing/touching other things and then still touching people's food orders without any gloves.

Read moreI have to say, the young lady Sabrina was amazing! I actually felt so terrible for her as she was the only employee working there all by herself! It was early in the morning and she was running around preparing and completing orders after opening by herself! I was initially upset because the order wasn’t ready upon my arrival as I was hoping but then when I realized she was doing EVERYTHING by herself, I felt horrible for being upset and instead realized the management needs to get this young lady some assistance! No single employee should have to do everything without assistance from fellow co-workers! Whomever the manager is, should be ashamed of his or herself! Sabrina was still kind and hard working and apologetic but I quickly asked her not to apologize as the manager should be the one to apologize not just to the morning customers, but also to Sabrina for not doing his or her job and providing adequate scheduling to adhere to the required workforce needed to run a busy location! One employee should not have to open, operate, cook, make drinks, clean, tend to so many customers and all other areas of operation ALL BY HERSELF! Shame on the management team for failing your employees and customer! Get this young lady Sabrina some co-worker help and you should give her a raise for all she has already had to endure on top of better help to do a more than “one man” job!
