As a loyal, daily customer from the Aetna building just down the street, I can confidently say this place isn't just a restaurant; it's a daily dose of sunshine served with some seriously amazing food and the best coffee in all of South Florida, hands down. I'm talking the kind of coffee that makes you want to do a little happy dance after the first sip. But honestly, the real magic of Crack'd goes beyond the incredible eats and caffeinated perfection – it's the people!

Let's talk about the superstars, shall we? First up, the radiant Raven! I absolutely adore you Raven 🤗 Raven is an absolute gem. Every single morning, without fail, they greet me by name with the warmest smile you've ever seen. It's like they have a superpower for making everyone feel like they're the most important person in the room. And then there's the legendary Alex! Alex goes above and beyond like it's his personal mission. He actually remembered my name the 1st we met because his mom has the same name – how incredibly sweet and thoughtful is that?! It's these small, genuine connections that make Crack'd feel like more than just a place to grab a bite; it feels like visiting friends.

Honestly, the entire staff at Crack'd is like a burst of positive energy. They're all so outgoing and vibrant, making every visit a joy. And the prices? Don't even get me started on the value! You get top-notch quality without breaking the bank. But truly, Raven and Alex deserve all the accolades in the world. Their friendliness and professionalism aren't just good customer service; they genuinely brighten my day. They are the heart and soul of Crack'd, and I wouldn't trade my daily visit for anything. We chose this restaurant due to its convenient location right beside our hotel, The Sheraton Suites, within easy walking distance. Opting for outdoor seating, we ordered a kids' chicken tenders, a kids' pancake breakfast, and the Bacon Jack sandwich, recommended by one of the staff members. Additionally, we ordered two smoothies: the Monkey Wrench and the Morning Routine.

The staff were friendly and provided recommendations when asked. However, the smoothies took quite some time to arrive, likely due to the morning rush.

The Bacon Jack sandwich proved to be a breakfast delight! Bursting with flavours from cage-free eggs, crispy country bacon, pepper jack cheese, honey-sriracha sauce, smashed avocado, and pickled jalapeños on brioche, each bite was a culinary masterpiece of sweet, spicy, and savoury elements, perfectly balanced and irresistible.

On the other hand, the Morning Routine smoothie fell short of expectations. Despite its promising ingredients of spinach, banana, almond butter, almond milk, and vanilla protein powder, the overpowering spinach flavour overshadowed the other components. The banana was barely discernible, and the almond butter seemed lost, resulting in a disappointing lack of creaminess and flavour.

In contrast, the Monkey Wrench smoothie was a delightful blend of strawberry, banana, almond milk, and honey. Its simplicity proved to be its strength, with the sweetness of the strawberries and bananas shining through in every sip. The almond milk contributed a creamy texture, while the addition of honey provided a perfect touch of natural sweetness, making it a timeless and satisfying choice.

Overall, while the restaurant provided a pleasant dining experience with friendly service and delicious options like the Bacon Jack sandwich and the Monkey Wrench smoothie, the Morning Routine smoothie failed to impress with its disappointing flavour profile. Additionally, the kids thoroughly enjoyed their chicken tenders and pancake breakfast, which were both satisfying and flavourful...

UPDATE:

Came back for lunch. That Classic Chicken sandwich -- omgahhh! Yeooo. Cooked to breaded/crispy perfection, juicyyyyy inside, on a brioche. I got the aioli on the side (so I can ration my sauces). It automatically comes with a side and I chose the fries (and they are crinkle cut seasoned!!) Yum! I got Sriracha on the side and dunked my fries in that with ketchup, while I dunked my burger (I always cut them in half) in the aioli. A little sauce goes a long way, as they are rich. So happy!

Also, the staff was still the coolest and kind as ever.

ORIGINAL POST: Delicious! I got the Live Free or Die sandwich because I was in a 'bacon, egg and cheese (BEC)' mood. And I love a good brioche bun! I also got a side of hash browns which were seasoned well and crisped right!

It was all super yummy. Fried egg cooked medium-hard (my favorite for breakfast sandwiches) and the bacon was cooked how I like (cooked enough for texture but not burnt or soggy. Just right!)

Their CKC ketchup has a subtle, yet flavorful "zing" that I found yummy. I will be coming back to try their chicken sandwich which I heard pairs well with their aioli sauce and Sriracha on the side.

Christine (or Kristine, spelling?) at the register was so sweet and patient when helping me choose my food choice. Simona was super kind, helpful and both ladies chatted with me for a few minutes post-meal.

I didn't get the name of the guy who checked in on me when I was done eating, but he told me to take my time and not to rush and enjoy myself, even after he got my plate. Also, if you care -- he was a major cutie who looks like a model with a nice smile (ayyy!).
