Gianna's Pizza Center — Restaurant in Plantation

If i could leave 0 stars i would. First time coming to this place and will never return. I ordered 2 slices of pizza, prior to ordering i asked how long it would be and the cashier said the pizza just came out of the oven. I then waited 30 minutes and the order still was not ready, i asked for a refund as i had to leave, the cashier didn't know how to do a refund and said the pizza is coming out right now, 10 minutes later no pizza and no refund, he had to ask someone else to process the refund, when she came to the front she attempted to refund but was unable to through her system and said she would need to call in to process the refund... i proceed to wait as im running late. I let her know i was running late. In no way was i rude to her and she proceeds to say you can leave we'll give you your money back, weve been in business for years so this isnt gonna hurt us. My thoughts... when did i say it would. I was at starbucks... saw your restaurant and thought I would try it out. Big mistake. I was treated very poorly by the staff member, she was very rude. Not once did i raise my voice or disrespect her but you could hear her all the way from the back. People who came in after me got their food first. I was to come back later to get a refund. They close at 8pm and stated they would be there after hours for a short period of time and to come back. Thats a big inconvenience. As a business owner the goal is to provide good customer service and retain customers, provide a quality service, product, etc. I received none of the above. Moving forward i hope you treat your customers more respectfully and accept accountability when issues may arise. I've ordered a few diffrent items from here over a period of time. I normally get my pizza/italian from another place further west but tried here as it's closer. The pizza is just ok. As another reviewer mentioned here (some time ago), the meatballs are small & very similar to ones I can buy frozen from Publix or Ikea, however Publix & Ikea's are better. I've had a bacon cheeseburger here that they barely cooked(?) the bacon for. The raw bacon was curled up in a ball on top. It looked like it spent just a few minutes in the oven before it was put on the burger. The burger Patty also resembled the commercially made & frozen type. I've had better burgers at Wendy's. Another reviewer claimed they were out of something, mentioning Publix is in the same plaza. Gianna's responds by saying they "do not buy" from Publix. If you made an ordering error & could buy the ingredients from Publix to make your customers happy, why wouldn't you?

As far as service, I've had decent experiences & poor. Reading the replies from Gianna's, it seems that customer service is not a great priority to them. The "we're sorry, we'll try better, we'll speak to our staff, see you soon, ..." seems to be the standard response. I don't expect 5⭐ treatment but I do expect to be treated courteously & respectfully. It's hit or miss here. I'll go out of my way for better...

This is our locate piazza spot. Today we ordered, the kids had two slices and complained that the pizza was hard. I took a slice and it was hard to me as well. I called and asked to speak with the manager. When I asked who I was speaking with , the response was how can I help you. I explained that the pizza was hard. The manager later identified as Rose said no one has complained all day and that the pizza is NY style. Again I explained that it was hard and I would be returning the pizza. I drove there and talked with Rose again who gave me more excuses. When I asked for a refund she offered to remake the pizza and I declined and asked for a refund. Rose instructed me to call the slice company and request a refund. I called and was told the restaurant reported that I ate hate the pizza and would refund half. I explained that we got an XL Pizza and even if 3 slices were missing that is not half the pizza. They tried to call Rose back and there was no answer. Very DISAPPOINTED!!! Our family eats here all the time and will never spent another dollar. I will be waiting for my refund especially bc I refused the remake and I know that is considered theft in the...
