It's hard to see in the picture but there was a hair in my rice and not only that, but it's literally just rice. There's no peas or any other types of vegetables. It's just the driest rice I've ever had. I asked for pork fried rice and there was absolutely no pork in there. I think I saw maybe two little tiny cubes the entire time. The hair really almost made me throw it all back up. It was such a gross surprise. The boneless ribs were completely gross from all the fat. There was absolutely no meat on it whatsoever. They just gave me a plate of red fat. This is hands down the absolutely most disgusting restaurant I've ever eaten at in my life. I'm honestly too scared to even touch the other stuff that I got.

Ugh. I wanted to like it, I really did. The reviews were great and I was excited to find a Chinese restaurant near work, however I was really disappointed. I ordered the Jumbo Shrimp w/ Broccoli and requested extra sauce and let me tell you how TINY the shrimp was and there was little-no sauce in the container. I also requested an order of Lo Mein with no veggies, just the noodles, for my 1 year old (the veggies are too hard for him still) and instead I was given 90% veggies and almost no noodles. I wish I'd thought to take a picture before I got mad and tossed it. The only good part of my meal was the BBQ ribs which were delicious. Unfortunately that one thing won't get me back there anytime soon.

No dine in because of construction but my review is entirely centered around the food. The people that work there are friendly. Fried rice generally comes with egg, carrots, peas. This had NONE, not even a single pea (and I don't like peas). I got the lunch special pepper steak, the egg drop soup it came with was good, I also got crab Rangoons which were decent but I was really turned off by the entree. The meat was depressingly sparing, and even though I could smell the pepper, it tasted extremely bland - I was expecting more spice. Sadly, what was left in the picture went in the trash as I couldn't bring myself to eat it.

We went to this restaurant for Mother's Day, so we pretty much had no choice but to go since mom had the decision. I made the poor decision to check out the reviews of this place before getting my own first impression and admit that the negative reviews played a part with my negative experience.

We were greeted by a worker with a man bun who's energy seemed very negative and unwelcoming...he had no patience to explain us the specials. His response was exactly "everything on the menu is a special, just take a look." With most Asian restaurants we knew that most of the items listed do not have a description of the item ordered...I ordered the chicken and sugar peas, which was awful and had absolutely no taste to it, but I'm a highly experienced server and never like to give food back unless it's completely inedible. Oh yeah, it took the food 45 minutes to get to our table while mr man bun stood around and joked with other servers and had absolutely no sense of urgency.

Mainly the only thing we enjoyed was one entree, the crispy shredded beef, that tasted amazing I gotta give them that. But our overall experience? Not positive at all. Very unwelcoming, workers seemed burdened when we ask questions, and they just don't care about you at all. I would suggest to only order takeout from them and order what you know is good, don't take the risk to try anything new because they have a different way of preparing food compared to traditional Asian...

Chin’s Kitchen is the best Chinese Restaurant in Doylestown! No heavy salt. No MSG. If you do not see what you want on their extensive menu, JoJo the Proprietor, will cheerfully and capably prepare something special for you and your party. JoJo makes this restaurant a “happy place” to visit for either take-out or dining-in.

Chin’s does not have a fancy dining room, but, their reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere more than compensate. I can say, coming from Jersey, that the food here is every bit as good as any Chinese Cuisine that I have tasted in both Jersey and the City.

My Wife and I have been regulars here for many years. We only eat locally here because the customer always “Wins” at “Chin’s!”

James and Joy...

Chin’s Kitchen in Doylestown is a family owned and operated restaurant. The owner is friendly , caring and will prepare all dishes with any specific need or change requested. The food is always fresh and prepared when ordered. If there is something about your order that you don’t like , simply tell Jo Jo the owner and she and her husband the head chef will address it immediately. There will be times that an entree or appetizer maybe a bit “off “…. No problem , the team will address the issue. It’s a great neighborhood restaurant with friendly , courteous staff and very good food. To those critics who have previously posted , I ask , did you bring your issue to management’s attention and give them a chance to...
