The Alpine Chocolat Haus has outstanding service, delicious products, and very clean facilities. During the 2024 Plymouth Ice Festival (or shall I say, the Slush festival) my husband and I walked around down town Plymouth and decided to pop in this shop. The store was packed wall to wall! It was clear that their chocolate goods were very popular. We decided to buy some caramel corn mix, a marshmallow chocolate, and a peanut butter cup. There was a promotion at the time, I canāt remember what it was, but it was nice to be able to purchase quality chocolates that didnāt break the bank!
I have the mindset of if you can support a small business with your purchases, you should! Instead of buying the big-brand stuff, please consider making a purchase that supports a small town business like Alpine Chocolat Haus! Supporting their business not only keeps the economy close to home, but it supports a business with strong ties to our community and a business who doesnāt shy away from supporting local fund raisers and schools.
Fun story - my husband and I both went back on our own to purchase each other some chocolate for Valentineās Day. We couldnāt stop laughing when we realized we purchased each other...

I rate this 4ā , but the quality is better than your typical big store chocolate brands(Russell Stover, Fannie Mae, etc.). Speaking solely about the chocolate, I do feel that Kilwin's presentation and flavor are better; just more expensive(as of the date, $27/lb vs $35/lb). However, Alpine has just as much chocolates as Kilwin's, and a bigger variety of other goods as well(popcorn, gummies, choco-covered chips, etc), so its still worth coming here.
Will update the review later as I want to try their popcorn and ice cream, but was rushing and forgot to get some. Also, they don't have the pay-with-card tip on their registers, so have some cash on-hand if you appreciate their service and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlpine Chocolat Haus is pretty solid! I would consider it a chocolate store that has ice cream, rather than an ice cream shop. Thatās not a bad thing, just Iād say ice cream isnāt necessarily the main focus. I appreciate that you could sample the flavors because there were a lot of cool and unique ones! I ended up ordering a split single of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Oreo Cookie. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch was a flavor Iāve never seen before and itās my favorite cereal so I was excited to give it a try! It was good. Though, the cereal pieces didnāt taste super great - Iām assuming they just get a weird almost āstaleā texture because theyāre frozen. The Oreo Cookie is your basic cookies and cream which is always a favorite! Overall, it was good! Since Plymouthās local ice cream shops are only open during a certain time of year, I think Apline offers great year...
