Food was great… service, not so much.

Staff was unfriendly, which made for an unwelcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was not very attentive to our needs, and seemed annoyed if we asked a couple questions about the menu. We didn’t quite understand the itemization of our bill (it was hard to read her handwriting)… We decided to not even ask, as she wouldn’t have been very helpful, based on our interactions with her thus far. As I stood at the front counter to pay, I stood for nearly 15 minutes with multiple people walking by me (including the waitress that served me) until someone finally came to check me out; I was met with a curt “Can I help you??”. As I was writing my tip on the bill, that’s when the waitress who served me finally decided to show up, and had the audacity to look over my shoulder to see what I’d be tipping her. It would’ve been a full 20% had she not had an attitude.

My party noticed that a handful of tables sat empty with dirty plates on them for the entire time we were there (1.5 hours), as many patrons were waiting longer than expected to be seated. We also noticed a party of 3 people sneak by the hostess booth and pick up 3 menus and sat themselves at a table, cutting everyone else who had been waiting in line. The hostess didn’t seem to notice, or didn’t care, if she did. Either way, just another example of inattentive staff.

I want to be clear that my party and I don’t mind waiting, as we could see they were quite busy - but the fact that nobody said a simple “we see you, and we will be with you as soon as we can!”, and seemed annoyed by our mere presence, does not make for a hospitable environment. I understand that some patrons can be over-demanding and rude, but we barely asked for anything (besides what kind of toast/bread variety they had….Not a big ask). It’s the little details of creating a warm environment that add up, and this place was severely lacking that.

I used to work in waitstaff for 10 years; it’s not that hard to provide friendly and attentive service. If I ever were to get food from here again, I would get takeout so I could deal with the staff as little...

Great staff and food, mean cook!

My family brought me there for the first time a week ago (Mid June) the food was great and nice portions. Nice decore. Nice outside area but the wait would have been to long for us.

Our waitress was great, I think her name was Jamie (tall thin, pretty, wearing all black with a small white "New York" on her shirt) it was busy and she was serving inside and out without getting flustered.

The only problem was the extremely abusive cook scolding the staff. At least 4 times half the restaurant heard him express extreme anger about the wait staff. Once he yelled for a waitress (ours who was busy and doing a great job) and said "Get her in here! I don't care what she's doing, drop it and get in here now!" She eventually went in and I think he showed her a ticket to a point out her mistake. She continued to work with a smile on her face and didn't appear to let it bother her, much better than I would have done!

Everyone has bad days, but he spoke with absolute furious anger. There is no way that was a random bad day. That man was mean, and obviously frustrated and miserable with his job. He needs to get another one or your staff needs to have some serious discussions to fix whatever is causing his anger.

He cannot treat your wait staff like that even if they were doing a bad job. No one deserves that and there are better more private ways of letting them know he needs something...

We love food and love trying new places. this is one of the worst places we have been too.... we waited 40 min for a table. Which u understand may be its busy so this was ok The tables are too small, with the complimentary condiments around u have no place to put ur plate The waitress took us to the table and got us water and left. Dint come for half hour to take the order later came took the order dint bother to write down or listen properly. she got our order half hour later with one of our orders wrong. We told her the order was wrong and she made a weird face as if what seriously kind off and left. ten min later she came back with our order and the omelette wasnt even cooked. On top of everything the food in general too bland and had no taste. The bread was stale too. After we are done eating the waitress wouldnt come with our bill. we literally went in and paid our bill. Overall the waitress wouldnt even come once to check how the food is or how we are doing or even to refill our water.

I would definitely not recommend anyone to go to this place. Instead i highly recommended to the...

the food is good service is good, but the out-of-control price gouging is unreal even for inflation standards. I ordered a breakfast for 12 dollars with all the meats the ham piece was so small it was laughable, and I ordered Texas toast it came with 1 piece of bread lol I said can I get another piece of toast please most breakfast come with 2 pieces she looked at me and said no problem. well, that piece of bread cost me 3 dollars. there Texas toast is the same size of pepperidge farms that cost 3.77 at Walmart for a whole loaf. and of course, that small glass of milk in the picture cost me 4 dollars lol I realize we have inflation I get it, but this was blatant price gouging lol I gave the waitress 5 dollars I usually tip 25 to 30 percent so my breakfast cost 25 dollars. if you're the rich elite this restaurant is definitely for you ......but not me

Went with a friend and met there shortly after lunch, it is very tight parking and very tiny dining area inside, seating about 8 tables of 4 only. We got one of the last remaining tables and were greeted warmly by staff. We ordered our beverages and they were brought out promptly. I ordered a chicken salad wrap with homemade chips and 1 single piece of blueberry stuffed French toast. The food was very good. Lacked some salt, which could be a good thing for people, haha. But the chicken salad had cherries and walnuts in it and it added a very nice flavor. The French toast was not as sweet as I would have liked, it was more of a tart blueberry filling and less of a sugary filling. There was also a slight weird smell in the restaurant, a mix between old smoke and lilies…I didn’t love the odor.
