Got food poisoning here back on 21 March(so not too long ago, I got the bison, burger, fries, surly beer and water) Or I assume it was food poisoning or maybe it was alcohol poisoning(whatever it was it made me pass out six or seven minutes later after consuming). I’m still trying to figure out how I passed out(I rather not discuss what happened afterwards, but I’ll let you know as I did not throw up surprisingly) that quickly when normally it would take a couple hours for it to kick in. Anyways the tattoo server guy was amazing because he gave me a bunch of water to down since it was around this time 744pm I ended up calling back when I got home since I don’t live that far and with a couple coworkers that took me home. Anyways, when I got home that night, I called back to place and I spoke to a guy named Mason(first manager not general) I told him what happened and he was apologetic and said for me to call back the next morning to speak to someone named Brian(who was the general manager based on what Mason said), I did get to talk to the server guy after I asked Mason if I could speak to him really quick since it was a busy night as well and I think the server and he was glad I was a bit all right even though I wasn’t fully, what a great guy.
So I ended up calling the next morning since it was a Friday and I don’t work Fridays(thank Frick) and I spoke to someone named Julia, who based on what she said was another manager(not general, but I believe assistant) and I told her what happened and what I told Mason last night and basically it went all downhill from there when speaking to Julia. She was kind of authoritative and questioning me on if I was allergic to anything and I said no. So not only did I not get to speak to Brian and not only did she not transfer me over to Brian(since I called around the time that Mason said to which was around the lunch hour when they opened) but she had the audacity to question me and just basically be rude about it and not caring. All she did was give me the Minnesota Department of Health number(which technically I didn’t want, but I ended up taking, but I forgot the number afterwards because I don’t have time to talk for two hours to someone from the department). I should’ve told her to just forget it and I will never return but I might as well put this in the review. Sorry for the rant, but I’m never going back to Luckys specially after Julia’s attitude(not the first time I got food poisoning, although I didn’t get food poisoning here the first time). But now that I think about it, I don’t know if Brian would be like Julia and question me even more than Julia. I wanted to complain, but I was kind of embarrassed to(for both the food and Julia’s attitude). If Julia is seeing this review, just make sure she sees this IM NOT RETURNING EVER (not even for takeout nor delivery). Read moreTheir female manager should NOT be in this industry or manage ANY team! I had to lower my stars for Lucky's based off of our experience today. We went in as a group of 5 for lunch and bingo. (Our server was great!) When our food came out, the manager brought it. She could not name 1 dish she brought out so we were originally very confused as she kept asking who had "insert dish name that wasn't ordered". As a former server, this is concerning that a manager doesn't know the products. After she dropped the food off, she aggressively asked what else we needed. We asked for silverware, since there was none and the missing sides for 2 of the dishes. She seemed even more angry that we dare to ask anything and started to rattle off items we might need that we might have not asked for, ketchup, extra napkins, ranch, hot sauce, drinks, water, etc, like we were children. She came back with the items we asked for and SLAMMED them on the table without 1 word and walked away. We were totally in shock, no clue what happened or what we did wrong. Clearly we were an inconvenience to her. We watched her walk away to the bar where she could be seen clear as day throwing up her hands and angrily pointing to our table to our server..I flagged down our server to ask what the hell had just happened. He had confirmed that she gets quickly frustrated for little reason. We feel so bad for the staff that has to deal with this manager! Seeing this managers attitude towards us for a normal request for a few items after our food is dropped is probably nothing compared to how she treats the staff.
