I made appointment a week in advance. I was surprised they didn’t get me in for consultation first. They just made appointment for me for hair and for Eyebrow wax. The day of the appointment they called me in the morning asking if I wanted to come in early because they had cancellation. I told them I cannot come in early and would like to keep my appointment time. The lady said that was fine. When I went to this place for the Brazilian blowout, they said it will not work for my type of hair. The lady said my hair was too kinky in the front and straight on the back. I said I have done the Qi Qi hair treatment before. She said I think they have done relaxer on your hair but I never used relaxer in my life. I have curly hair and wanted to make it wavy but they didn’t know what to do with it. They wanted me to sign a paper saying I’m OK with it even if I don’t get the result I was looking for because they didn’t know what to do with my hair. The owner was not very optimistic I’m doing my hair so I have to leave. I decided to make appointments at other Hair Salon and I noticed that I’m leaving on Saturday and there’s no one that could get me in fast. I decided to go in just to do my eyebrows with them but she didn’t do A good job but still charged me $21. These people just wasted my time. I've had my hair cut by Tina at Christopher J Salon a few times now, and I've been pleased each time. I feel like she actually listens to me when I describe what I like and dislike about previous styles. When I told her that I do not use any product or do anything to style my hair beyond washing and combing it, she took that into account, and didn't use any product when styling it after the cut. I think that's the first time a stylist has ever done that, and I appreciated it. She also didn't try to sell me on any products beyond asking if I needed shampoo; again, very much appreciated.
