For mine and my fiancé’s wedding, we were sure of one thing- we 100% without a doubt wanted a beach ceremony, in the sand, next to the ocean. Believe it or not, Jenkinsons inlet is one of the Very few venues around the shore that offer this, then with the ease of an outdoor reception just a few steps away. Because of these two points, we chose to go with Jenkinsons for our wedding to take place in May of next year. At first I worked with Casey, who was wonderful and made the process easy. Chris soon took over for her, and he was a huge help and went above and beyond with helping me plan. I needs measurements of the deck? This man hand drew me a map. I had any questions? He was always available with the answers. Unfortunately, we’ve decided to cancel the wedding due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19 (half of our guests need to be able to get into the US from other countries). But I would highly recommend for any other couple who is aiming for a relaxed, outdoor beachside wedding to go with Chris & his team at Jenkinsons Inlet. They make everything so easy, to the point I didn’t even need a wedding planner. Thank you so much to Casey, Chris & team for making what would have been our wedding day so amazing, easy, and hassle free. If I could give more than 5...

Great opportunity to relax at the beach and soak in the sun. Parking is $20 and beach access is $10 for adults and $3 for children under the age of twelve. The beach is nice with lots of space and volleyball courts. The Ocean can sometimes be nice but also violent. I went in the water on June 29 and it was very cold and the waves were about 6-7 feet. On the contrary, I went on June 26 and it was warm with waves about 4-5 feet. But, there is two bad things I have to mention. The water at low tide is absolutely disgusting with seaweed and a bunch of other underwater plants. The other inconvenience is food service at the main restaurant. The salads are horrible and if your a burger kind of person your steak will be charred or burned. The raps are good though. However, you have to pick up your food when you buzzer activates. If you are not there within five minutes, they will take the food back and give it to someone else in their order. In all, I think it is a great way to spend the day with your family and really enjoy the boardwalk and the...

This may have been the best place on the jersey shore in years past to us. We used to love it here. Never missed a FDU party and invited everyone we knew. However, we were faced with some very disturbing treatment and service this past year. Not only was the bar tender rude and disrespectful, but she made the decision to cut us off from drinking after 4 drinks and 4 hours of eating an open buffet. I can see if we were tripping over our words and stumbling, but we were not... Just trying to have an adult conversation about her reasoning to why she cut us off. We are responsible, hard working people who work with people with special needs-getting them jobs, teaching them independence, and actually doing good in this world. After trying to talk to, and reason with the bar tender, police officer Torre screamed in our face just for asking the bartender for an explaination, and threatened to arrest us. We left and will never return. If you're trying to just have a good time and enjoy yourself, this is not the...

At the far end of Jenkinson Boardwalk, over by the jetty, there's a tiki bar. It's a bit less known than on the main drag of the boardwalk, there's no cover charge, beach access, volleyball nets with the occasional hot man or woman playing a game(whatever your persuasion would be), decently priced drinks, food and ice cream available. Definitely more of a mellow tone here with a little light music by a live band, the chairs out on the sand, and some tables situated at the bottom of the main bar deck. Highly recommend sitting down by the palm trees. They may not be native to NJ, but they certainly fit right in on the beach scene. When you're finished with your drink, stroll the beach or take a walk on the jetty. Relaxing day=made :)

This is our favorite place to go!! On Mondays and Tuesdays in the summer you can bring your pup to have some fun with friends in the sand. The view is just gorgeous. I love watching the fishing boats coming and going through the inlet! The vibe is so chill and relaxed, there's nothing like coming here for happy hour after a day of work. They have live music a lot and it's always someone who nicely compliments the relaxed atmosphere of the bar! Last but not least, the food is also not bad! It is boardwalk food, but it takes good and thats all that matters!

I actually like this place a tad more than the other Jenks as it is a bit more chill and laid back. I came here over the Memorial Day weekend, and it was surprisingly not very crowded, which, for me, was good. I was able to get a couple of drinks and unwind. The bartender was friendly, and the drinks were good. Prices here are not too bad either. If you don't want the loud crowds like me, then this is the spot for you.
