Chick-fil-A Pooler Ga, I have absolutely never in my life had a situation like this happen before. So my fiancé and I decided we were gonna go grab some lunch before heading to an event today. We go to Pooler because obviously we live across the street. We order are normal order, (Chick-fil-A deluxe no cheese large sweet tea, and four strip meal with a toasted bun on the side) we get to the window for them to hand us our order wrong. We tell them there was suppose to be another bun in the bag. What they handed us was (a Chick-fil-A deluxe inside a bowl, a bun on the side, and four strips) We tell them that there was suppose to be another toasted bun and tell the lady at the window our exact order, she proceeds to tell us what the other lady rang up for us (okay she rang it up wrong but we now are telling you we need another bun) she tells us she’s gonna charge us for the second bun .27!! .27 charged to my card because we didn’t have any cash and because the employee rang us up wrong. After handing her my card and ringing us up, she proceeds to tell us to move forward someone will bring it out. Take into consideration Matthew used to work for Chick-fil-A, and knows the time it takes to grab a bun, put it in a bag, and hand it out the window. We tell her we aren’t moving forward and that we just want our bun. Immediately she gets mad and tells Caleb (the manager) to call the cops because we are refusing to move our car. Keep in mind this is over a .27 cent bun that takes maybe tens seconds to grab. It will take longer for them to call the cops and wait for the cops to arrive then to grab the bun and hand it out the window. We are now frustrated, and decide to hand all the food back and drinks and tell them we want a refund. They take my card inside for about five minutes before someone else comes to the window with my card and states “we have asked y’all nicely to move forward, the cops have been called” I asked if we got a refund and he says no you have not. So we then wake up Malia (at four months!) to go inside and get a refund, the manager inside didn’t even know that we handed our food back to them and says he’ll happily give us a refund. Afterwards we go to leave, and the cops walk in and caleb the manager tells the cops to ban us. While waiting on the cops to give us our papers, I call corporate. Corporate theirselves stated the cops never should have been called and the situation was handled very badly, they have sent message to Marshal Davis (the franchise owner) for him to contact us about this situation.
Pooler Chick-fil-A you took a small situation that would have taken less then a minute and turned it into something that took an hour. Thank y’all, your owner will know the story, and we will take it further into...
Read moreWe were flying to California from Savannah and stopped by Chick-fil-A in Pooler before heading to the airport. It is the closest Chick-fil-A to Savannah/Hilton Head International Aiirport, located right off the freeway and clustered with other dining and shopping places. We were warmly greeted by the counter person who took our order and filled our drinks.
My wife ordered a side salad and 8-piece grilled nuggets along with a large Diet Dr. Pepper. I got a Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich with medium waffle fries and a large unsweetened iced tea. Both my wife and I were happy with our meals. The chicken for my sandwich was cooked perfectly, with a nice crunchy coating and just the right amount of spiciness. The tomato and lettuce were fresh and the sandwich was delicious. I always think that this sandwich has enough flavor from the chicken and moisture from the tomato that is does not need any sauces added. In the past I have gotten the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich with American cheese. Big mistake! Stick with pepper jack cheese.
I'm fairly certain that Chick-fil-A has changed the way they make their waffle fries, and it is a change for the better. I have had their waffle fries at various locations across the country over the past year, and they are consistently good. The waffle fries are nicely seasoned (I used to always add extra salt) and have an enjoyable crunch when biting into them. Before the change, the waffle fries were inconsistent, sometimes crunchy and sometimes soggy. It seems to me they have figured it out and I always look forward to them now.
The beverages we ordered were also good. That may seem like an odd thing to mention, but at other places Diet Dr. Pepper can sometimes be flat and unsweetened iced tea can sometimes be cloudy with an unpleasant taste. A bad beverage ruins an otherwise good meal. The Diet Dr. Pepper tasted as it should and my iced tea was fresh and crisp.
We both used the restrooms before leaving and found them to be clean. The service during our meal was very good, with a Chick-fil-A employee checking on our table more than once, clearing trash and offering to refill drinks.
So, our travel plans started off great with our visit to Chick-fil-A. I recommend it as a good option for getting a quick meal before heading to the airport. It is better food for better prices than what is offered in the airport terminal. We enjoyed our...
Read moreOf course there is no 0 star option, but this was an awful experience with no current resolution. I normally go this location when I take my road trip. It was reliable and fast but this past Saturday I went and tried to grab a Cobb Salad. Halfway through my salad I felt a hard crunch and spit out not only a leg, but a whole bug. It was at the bottom of my salad and seemed to be cooked given it crunched and I didn’t feel any fluid thank God. I was a tad itchy but took a Benadryl tablet and just decided to call in since I couldn’t turn around. When calling Chick-fil-A the on-duty manager told me she was give my number to Caleb and I would receive a call the following day and they would begin processing my fund (Sunday). Seeing as Chick-fil-A was closed I waited until about 5 on Monday to give them a call seeing as they hadn’t called me. Then THAT on-duty manager informed me that Caleb was HR, not a manager, nor had they processed my refund at the bare minimum and would give me a replacement salad (?) as if I would possibly want a new one. They then said they would have the location operator Marshall give me a call the following day (Tuesday). I’ve yet to receive a call from ANYONE after almost eating a whole bug, and while I received my refund, this was the most unpleasant experience I’ve had at any Chick-fil-A location. There’s no sense of urgency and while I understand that locations like these are busy, you would think something like this would take priority. Feel free to look at some of the pictures of the unidentified thing I...
